I like the look of this, but by god they look fragile! They are outpaced by some teams, and outbashed by others. I guess they're to fill a halfway house role (a la Humans), which they might do well at. I hink the Master Taster could stand to go to 0-2 though.
Also a little wary of daggers. Maybe it's just all the discussion around them recently, but it feels like daggers are becoming more and more prevalent in [S]. For Fluff I can see why they're here, for Uniqueness I worry about them being here.
On the other hand I LOVE the sticky fingers feel. Very halfling, very nice.
Halflings need to be replaced with halflings and this seems to be the seed of quite a fun roster to boot. |

Anyone care to play-test these suckers? I have a feeling that the fact that the tasters and master taster have sure hnds will allow them some earlier SPP, and therefore the block skill more quickly than you'd think. If I'm right, an Ogre might be too much power. |

I think this is a very balanced, very fluffy roster. I agree that they end up being the Humans of Stunty. But, as much as I am a fan of fluffy balanced rosters, it doesn't feel unique, crazy, or Stunty Leeg enough. I want strangeness, randomness, and "damn that was funny" in Stunty Leeg. |

This is what I like about the roster best (apart from them being halflings).
I can imagine that there are alot of halfling bakeries spread across the world since they are known as excellent cooks (like many keen eaters). Since being some sort of cook is a halfling occupation anyway I can see that several bakeries would form teams, either to compete against other bakeries (initially) or to enter a local league.
As a star maybe some sort of Hot Pot, I always liked the idea of them having a long range but being terribly inaccurate (though not TTM, its a bowl of boiling soup, not a fling-a-pult). A Treeman or Ogre star also makes sense (as does a Halfling star.... their equivalent to Jamie Oliver or whatever). |
