Hey Guys
My girlfriend bought her daughter a net book type lap top. Its running Windows 7 and thru some mischance they did the initial install in french. I have played with every setting i could think of but cant get it to change to english. Since they are not french and dont speak read it you can see the problem. So if anyone can help me out i would be very thankful to you.
Merry Christmas

Just searched the Windows site if they have anything to change the language. I disbelieved that and I were right...
Put the CD back in and install it again. This time in the right language. :-/ |

try
Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region
under Region change location and a menu will come up. You come in on the location tab, but the first tab "Formats" gives you a choice to change language. |

"keyboards & languages" tab in the "language/region" applet is probably more accurate..there's a "display language" option that you can install appropriate languages as needed...might want to try that before going through a reinstall...
of course...i have no clue what any of this translates to in french
