Getting to 1700TV is easy ...even staying around there isn't too hard -getting to 2k+ is the hard bit.
Woodies are good at winning games though adn the inducements +Loaners make the next game potentially winnable too!

thank you, iv been nervous about trying the box coz you dont get to pick what teams you play, and i usually try and stay away from dwarves of any kind, mainly coz i think they should be stunties coz theyre the race thats refered to as stunties but dont have the rule... and damn block/ high av on every player annoyes me any my squishy elves, norse are av7 so not so bad =[
i cant get playing right away, i can only use forums during the day due to fummbl on my fon, i doubt i could support the game on my fon and if i could the ammount of screen scrolling would be immense |

You know, if Mercs were implemented, there would be a bit of fun in trying a 0 game team in a cup of some sort.
Cups are whatever you make them. Most important thing in the world, silly, knockabout fun. Go in with the attitude that works for you, and you’ll have fun. I suggest if you’re more competitive than in it for a laugh, get to TV 1.6 or higher. At 1.6, a well coached team will have enough fun with Stars and a Wizzie to worry anyone.
I think I'm just in this next one for a laugh; might be frog time. Any win is a great win with the leaping idiots.  |

Build up some good Players and enter. Inducements rock. Someting like an extra Appo, Chef and a bribe can really win a game.
The stars are usually expensive but one is sometimes realy good. Like a chainsaw + Bribes.
Of course you will have a hard day against superstars played by good coaches. |

Every time I try to build a team past 1600-1700TV I end up failing (players die), so I'm considering taking advantage of the new inducement system, and just go with the team I enjoy the most playing. |

Yes, enter the cup. Its all about having fun and taking part.
If you do well and keep winning then your team will skill up throughout the tournament.
I entered one with some rokie Dwarves once. Didnt do to well bit it was rather amusing to the masses. Even got a mention in the tournament thread!
