Whenever I mention my family (usually asking for patience in case I need short breaks while playing), it seems my opponents have children themselves.
So, out of curiosity: Do you have kids and if yes, how many?
Cheers,
Rabe, father of three
Edit: Damn, forgot the pie option. There would have been so many possibilities: "Pie is less work than kids!" or "Zero, I want to keep my pie to myself!" or "Children are evil, they want me to share my pie!" or... |

I don't have any as of yet, which puts me in the third of fumbblers without kids (wow, that's not much). It's fun in a strange kind of way, I've always imagined FUMBBL to be populated by 20-something college students like me actually ! |

Not a day goes by that I don't wish I could be back in college. That said, my kids are great. Onward and upward! |

Well, of those who voted (101 votes as I'm typing), 58% have at least one kid! And only 16% are glad not to have any of those litte... sweet...
After all, FUMBBL is a family friendly place!
However, while asking about whether you wish to have children someday if you haven't had them yet, I didn't ask if you wished not to have those that are already there - definitely biased.
The question remains:
Is FUMBBL the last refuge for us fathers out there?
And if so: Is it because of the tolerance with which everyone generously nods when you excuse yourself for a few minutes, because you have to change some diapers before you can continue smashing your opponent's beloved pixels?
...
Hm... could have just written *bump* to get more votes in, too... |

Judging from some of those results... I didn't know Catholics appreciated their followers worshiping false gods? |

Is ok: Catholics already worship graven idols - including mother-godesses |

Well.....
Fumbbl is something my wife wants me to play a certain amount of because I get grouchy without strategy games (though my new computer CAN support Starcraft 2.....) and tabletop takes a lot of time.
I can't answer your poll because I have 1.5 children, though the 1 loves my "little guys" and wants his own. So far (in addition to his toys, and the Heroscape Dragon and D&D Enormous Carrion Crawler he's adopted) he owns one. A Warhammer dwarf warrior he named "Pickle M", says is a wizard and got me to paint with purple armour, blue skin and a gold beard among other bits. Wants more. Particularily dwarves, which he sees as "Viking Guys". A recent visit to a game store was managed with a promise of buying him a new D6, and he chose it over a batman mini, so..... he may be more into game design in the end.
In short: Being a dad is awesome, and I wouldn't let 99% of you wackos near my children! |
