Hey purp,
All my stuff is in Canada, so I'm borrowing an undead team of cribble, but don;t have a board or any of the other stuff you want us to bring. Is this gonna be an issue or can I freeload?

So long as half the coaches bring boards, that's fine. |

Well he hasn't played UK TT before right? So I doubt he'll have a darker and 2 placement jugs. They'll be difficult to comeby at this late stage. |

Crib, I have my hat, coat, and most importantly, wallet. That's about it.

Just read the thread.
Have a great time there all. Drinking night should be great too. Shame I won't be able to meet up Chewie. I will sup some extra ale in honour of you all Saturday. |

It's done!
Massive thanks to the FUMBBL guys who made it, it was a pleasure to see / meet you all. Hope some of the less active TTers make more events in the future!
pythrr and Leipziger (Leipziger_Waterbowl here) won the day with Undead and 'Flings, with a team of Hitonogashi (Lizards) and Zoglug ('Flings) squeaking second on bonus points. Chewie won the individual prize (Elves) , and Cribble best painted (brilliant Ogres). Lastly, dontcallmeflossy! rounded off an impressive FUMBBList performance with a stunty cup win (Ogres).
Big thanks to all - and if I run these rules again, I'll know to be less conservative when it comes to plonking FUMBBLers in the top half. |

I'm sure Crib will take you a photo if he sees this - he's a long drive ahead of him tonight though. They were super! |

And some words from me.
-------
Cam Dub (Cambridge, UK), aka Pythrr experiments on TTers.
-------
Forza cheesey undead! [OBBA Deadies]
Game 1: a 1-0 win (4-1 cas) vs Flings (with Zara, coached by Alex from London)
Game 2: a 1-1 draw (1-4 cas) vs Lizzies (nice guy called Grant)
Game 3: a 2-0 win (2-3 cas) vs Chewie's Pro Elfs. Chew kindly brought his OBBA dice and proceeded to get thwanked.
So, after a win (over flings), a draw (vs. Lizzies), and a win (a real life dicing of Chewie's pro elfs!), what will happen on day 2....
so, day 2...
Game 4: 2-1 win (3-1 cas) over Stabby Delfs
Game 5: 2-1 win (3-0 cas) over Andy (Hawk)'s Skaven. Dice liked me in both games 4 and 5.
Game 6: 1-1 draw (1-3 cas) vs Gavin (the 4-armed machine)'s Humans.
To be honest, and no disrespect to the other 5 opponents (except Chew, of course), this was the only game in which I felt I was in danger of losing. Gavin was pretty damn good, and I had to be both good (in the first half) and lucky (in the second half - well, T16) to grab a draw.
so... 4 wins, 2 draws: not a bad weekend. Unbeaten (the only one of 28 coaches to do so, I think).
My able partner (Alex Leipziger) and myself, with a combined 6 wins, 5 draws and 1 loss, took home the team trophy.
Gratz also to Chewie who took home the best individual trophy with a 5-0-1 record (altho I would note that his one loss was to his OBBA colleague, ie: me).
Was a fun weekend, excellently organized by Goo and Smee (/applause), in which I got to have a drink with Chewie and Flibble (OBBA ftw!), meet Goo and Hitonogashi (good luck in Toronto, Joe), and a load of other nice folks.
Was also nice to see OBBA represented well, turning up and going home with almost all the stuff. /cheer
Thanks again to P-Goo and everyone who was there. Much fun was had.
Oh, and goo, you know I'm rubbish, and deserved to be in the bottom draw. |
