Huzzaaah, he might only be noted for 8 passing yards but Alexander's confident way of starting Kaiserslaughtering's drives have surely given the team the extra determination to fight their way through when things got hairy. The top passer award should be seen not just as a nod to his increasing skill with the ball but also as a celebration of the way he has led the club in their amazing debut. |

Yes, in a similar style to The Duke, he is the only reason they aren't already retired. Now he is av5, I feel even more compelled to try and keep him going.
Did I win a trophy Sera? Is it most awesome fail ever? |

Three teams from the Conference have performed giant-killing heroics and knocked out League teams in the cup thusfar. Looks like some of you pampered old fat cats need a little wake-up, non-league style!
Two more can still get through too. Look out for muddy pitches, filthy weather, and highly-paid divas floundering against some hungry low-tv tyros! |

Ratchester United FC vs Elverton
Elverton come into this game the underdogs having only played one game before, in this match up with the 3rd place Championship side Ratchester United.
With a large cash infusion Elverton tried to even the playing field hiring a Wizard as well as the Star Power of the mighty Morg ‘n’ Thorg and Prince Moranian.
Ratchester lost the Toss and Elverton decided to receive. Eleverton started the game with a drive straight out of the Elf Playbook. They opened up a gap near the sideline sending a few players through as Dixie Dean gathered the ball in his own half shielded by his defence. Ratchester swarmed all over the Elves running down the wing as well as sending men towards the ball carrier. Dixie ran into space and threw a short pass downfield to the waiting Neville Southall, showing great poise to ignore the Skaven surrounding him, Prince Moranian made some space for Neville who dodged free and strode into the endzone 1-0 Elverton.
At the start of the next drive an angry Skaven fan launched a rock onto the field knocking out Ted Sagar to the delight of the rest of the howling mob. Things didn’t fare much better for the Elves as Pain Rooney knocked down an Elven Journeyman Pinching a Nerve seeing him side-lined for the rest of the game and Dim Rat Berbatov sent Kevin Ratcliffe to the dugout as well. Having cleared a path for the Star Gutter Runner Grind Giggs to simply run down the wing and throw a simple pass to the waiting Ronaldo. 1-1
A bad block for the Elves put them under pressure straight away with the next Kick Off but a bad dodge by Pork Ji-Sung left an opening for Elverton. Dixie picked up the loose ball, handing it off to Brian Harris to run unopposed downfield and send the ball into the waiting arms of Southall. Southall manages to push off his marker and run the ball into Ratchester endzone 2-1 Elverton.
Still with plenty of time left in the half Ratchester open up the Elverton defence yet again as Giggs hands the ball of to Pork who runs deep into the Elverton half. But seeing his opportunity Prince Moranian loses his marker and wrestles pork to the ground freeing up the ball yards from the endzone. Southall manages to grab the ball and dodges out to towards halfway line where he launches a long bomb down field. The ever present Grind Giggs was positioned well and managed to intercept the ball in space and run the ball unhindered to the waiting Ronaldo. 2-2
A couple of blocks later and that saw the close of this very exciting first half.
The second half started with a deep kick by the Elves into the Skavens endzone and another Elven injury as Smashface Evra sent Ted Sagar to the crowded Elverton injury box. Ratchester broke through the ever weakening Elven defence as Giggs handed the ball off to Pork. Pork ran down the exposed Elven flank and tried a simple pass but nerves got the better of him as he fumbled the ball. Giving the Elves the chance they had been waiting for. Graeme Sharp who up until now had been pretty quiet blitzed the new Skaven Thrower Edbut Van Der Sar causing the first and only injury Ratchester would suffer. As Southall collected the ball and threw a long pass downfield showing great composure to ignore Pork Ji-Sung who trying his best to distract him. The ball sailed into the arms of the waiting Brian Harris who sprinted at full stretch into the Skaven endzone. 3-2 Elverton
The next drive sees a couple more Elves knocked out and an ever increasing hole opening up in Elvertons Defences. The Elves hoping for a mistake send their two Catchers to put pressure on Giggs. Giggs simply leaps over them and runs down the wing, but in his haste to get the equalizer he tries to send the ball into Machedas waiting arms but somehow drops the ball. Harris still on a high from getting his first touchdown blitzes Giggs into the ball knocking it towards the side-line. Without many options left the Elven Blitzer surrounded on all sides by Skaven manages to dodge free and collect the ball sending a long pass towards the two Catchers. Dixie manages to collect the ball out of the air and run to the endzone. The SKaven try and close the distance but Dixie was just out of reach. 4-2 Elverton
Now down to eight on field players the Elf team seem to have done the impossible and beaten these Giants of OBBA. But all was not over as the Elf defence fell to pieces letting Giggs throw a long pass to Ronaldo who simply walks in his third touchdown of the game. 4-3 Elverton
The Elves receive the kick and let the clock run down towards the final whistle. All that’s left to do in the game is for Brian Harris to fail a dodge injuring himself in the process. The Elverton Apothecary in his eagerness to show his ability almost cut one of Harris’s arteries but managed to close the wound up before he’d lost too much blood, unfortunately Harris will miss the next game due to his ineptitude.
The final act of the game saw the Wizard who until know had been getting high in the dugout sent a ball of fire into a group of Ratchester Gutter Runners who had retreated to safety, knocking out one of them.
What a game, this can only be described as one of the best games of the Tournament so far. Lets hope these Elves can keep showing performances like this. |

Bulton Wanderers FC played vs A.S. Roma Skaven
The rookier rats team got a good bounch of money, that the coach decided to use to hire a wizard and two babies. Three loner slaves were forced to play on the LOS
The match started with the Chaos Dwarves reciving the ball, under a perfect weather. The rats speed granted them a blitz, but the ball scattered in the middle of the of dwarf defense, leaving the rats with nothing to grab. The rat coach feel the lack of a kicker. The half went as it was predictable, with 5 rats out and easy score for the dwarf but with enought sand in the sandclock for the rats to score back... But the Bulton Wanderers started the drive too quicly, blitzing back the rats and preventing them to score
The second half started with the rats in full formation, thanks to the two babies, that refreshed and encouraged the nearly injuried rats. The Dwarf coach showed his experience, developing a perfect defense, but exposing pheraps too much of one side. The rats, thanks to their great speed, went all togheter on one side, then completely changing the attack side with the unbelivable speed of the gutter runners. An easy TD at turn 3 for the rats... With the Roma's coach keeping his eyes away from the wizard, hoping for his opponent to forget about him. A pouring rain started to fall on the pitch for the what look like to be the final decisive drive. The kick is very deep and the rats managed to turn around the dwarves and put a little of pressure. The Wanderers coach formed a cage, not too far from a good group of rats. This was the moment Coach Leilond was waiting for. An explosion announced the landing of a fire ball, perfectly delivered. Four of the five Wanderers went down, 3 stunned. The rats pushed away the last one and went with a gutter runner to recover the ball... but a simple foot of a bull centaur made the quick rat trip. A big fight for a ball started a few square from the dwarves end zone, but none of both the teams was able to recover it, no matter how many push a bounce they tried to force... the pouring rain made the ball too slippery, and the reef declared the end of the match after an hobgoblin recovered the ball, but too late and too far from the TD zone
A good draw for the rookie rats, that will have the next match with 5 loner slaves, thanks to the 1 dead, two retired and 2 miss next match lines. |

Did they have as easy a game as when they slaughtered me? I've never had so many KOs in a game before. |

I have some suspicions about foul play in my game. Before this game I hired a man known as Grobbelaar to help with preventing leaking TD's. We suspiciously let in 3 against a team that is so incapable of agility they ordinarily fall over when trying to tie their shoelaces. |
