Maybe we can also start a campaign for a maximum size for team logos! |

This is actually something I have mentioned to both Christer and Kalimar in the past. I believe the new team pages will at least scale the logos to a maximum size for viewing, but don't know if it will restrict the on-pitch size. 200hx250w is more than plenty imo, and keeps the logo between the wide zone lines. |

Bah! What fun is that? Then you couldn't have half-pitch overlays aligned to the squares.
I have gotten pretty favorable comments from opponents about my disco dance floor and chess board overlays. |

I would go with 210h x 390w max, maybe 420w if the center of the alignment by the client is moved 15px to the LOS.
But yeah, I turn off any logo that is too big or confusing. One of the reasons I would like the plain fields back as well. |

As HM said, their are copyright issues. That aside, are you uploading it from your computer? I don't believe using the url method works for avatars. I remember it being a a pain and only one of the methods works. |
Tried with URL and from my computer as well, no success, I can't upload it only on FUMBBL, even though I managed to upload it on 3 different forums.
Thanks anyway! |

MD: I will try it later and see what happens.
WS: Agree that the option for plain fields would be great, especially for people with vision issues since the screen size is relatively small already. I do prefer the more detailed pitches (biased), but can understand wanting a cleaner look. |

Is this my cue to mention how increasing the player portrait size from 30k to 40k makes a big difference in terms of alpha channel png24 transparency (I.e. transparency that blends in to more than one colour - usually white)? |

So would going from 10 to 15 or so for the avatars.
Edit: I was wrong, it is 20kb. Could have sworn it was 10 before. Old age I suppose...
I'm with you on the player portraits.
P.S. The macho man would look great without that white box behind him! |

1. Save an avatar to your desktop. It must be:
a. less than 20kb
b. no larger than 100x100 pixels
c. a gif, jpg, or png file
2. In the 'Forum' sub menu click 'Profile'
3. At the bottom of the form where it says "Upload Avatar from your machine:" click Browse and locate your icon.
4. All should be good.
Matt, I tested both the Orc and spiked ball avatars and am able to upload them as my avatars. Make sure when you save them the file name is included. |

I tried with another browser and the upload was successful.
Weird. Thanks for your help and sorry for the "white box" horror! |
