I just specced a game in which a goblin was TTM'ed and landed on another goblin on the same team which had the ball. Second player went splat and ball bounced away...

However this was not a turnover in the new client. Is that how it should be?

I think that should be a turnover. After all you have lost the ball.

When a thrown team-mate lands on another player, both players are knocked down and make armor rolls. Since the thrown goblin was never eligible to pick up the ball, there is no turnover.

If I remember right, TTM hitting your own player is always a turnover.

Yes. Or well only if the hit player gets knocked down I think, if he is already down he just gets the armour roll but no turnover.

a failed landing dosent result in a turn over the gobbo can stand up and still move 3. I dont see why hitting another player should result in a turn over.

Because the other player had the ball, which he then lost. If he didn't have the ball though, that's more complicated. I'd still say it should be a turnover though. If a bomb hits one of your players, it would knock him down and cause a TO.

Hitting a player in your turn from your own team from TTM doesn't cause a turn over, even if you injure.

If you hit the ball carrier i believe it should be a turn over though, because you have dropped the ball. Not 100% on that though. Would need to check the rules again.

If a player on the moving team is knocked down it is a turnover, a player landed on is knocked down.

Definitely a turnover; whether he has the ball or not. TTM rule - if you land on your own player, he's treated as knocked down (even if already prone/stunned). First point under the turnover rule: if a player on the moving team is knocked down, your turn is over.

Edit: Ninja'd. What he said.

Guys, just take a look at the rulebook for once, instead of guessing around. Wink

On p. 7 under "Turnovers" it states:

The following events cause a turnover: 1. A Player on the moving team is Knocked Down (being injured by the crowd or being Placed Prone is not a turnover unless it is a player from the active team holding the ball; e.g. skill liks Diving Tackle, Piling On and Wrestle count as being Placed Prone).

If you knock your own guys down, it's a turnover.

The Throw Team-Mate entry in the skills section states that if you land in an occupied square, the player standing there is Knocked Down.

Easy.

Edit: Sloooow.
