Completely disagree w/ this statement. Play how you want, have fun how you want, work to develop groups that you want. If this is something you are passionate about DO EET! |

Necros are the way to do it. BooAhl was hella unlucky not to win one. |

I would think Lizzies actually. Ulrik was unlucky not have won it ages ago, and there's been at least two lizzies in CRP finals since then, in R and B. |

wow really shocked that none of those teams have ever won i major tournement...slaan and stunty teams i can kinda get, i dont get why the slaan are even called that but thats not relevent to this thread. I wouldve thought that norse or human wouldve had a good shot, well off to try and play vampires :p
who knows give me 3 years and lots of luck and you may see a major won by a team of 4 legend vampires who all have str 6 ag 5 and some great skills :p
but i doubt it =] |

Here is the reality of the situation. Koadah did a great job with the HPL and having his scripts automate the scoring for Box matches. Inside his scripts he broke down Human teams BUT he has scripts running for everything just not on that detailed of a level for the HPL.
You could expand out the scoring for every single race just like the HPL.
You could expand out the scoring for every single race for Ranked.
You could expand out the scoring for every single race for BOX/RANKED combined.
You could expand out the socring for EVERYTHING!!!!
Every race could have a meta group. |

Sorry guys, I am against any kind of pimping teams for majors, and even more against organized pimping. |
It's hard out there for a pimp. |

I sat back and thought about this for minute and realized something.
There is organized pimping going on all around us.
Elfs only really play against elf (non Bash teams) once they get over 1600 TV.
The Bashers only really play against bash and storm the Scheduled smacks so teams cant avoid them. They look to beat up elfs and forlorn teams over 1600 TV but they stay away from them.
The elfs want no part of the forlorn teams over 1600 TV because they have tackle/MB and some PO.
So the forlorn teams are left out in the cold because they have no were to do some organized pimping!!!!!
The only way a forlorn team can pimp in ranked, like that is going to help them anyway due to the fact that they are forlorn, is sit on the gamefinder for endless hours and only take soft matches. But it will take hours on end because the soft teams want no part in a match against them.
So Forlorn teams do what they do..they take on all comers inorder to play Blood Bowl. Get smashed up to kibble bits, enter a major, get smashed up to kibble bits and then make an exit. Hit the forums to get an idea to maybe give them some type of advantage, any type of advantage and then get slapped down for trying to pimp!!!!!!!
Oh, the life of a forlorn coach is tough. They dont really like you I think deep down. It offends the sensabilities of some that a coach of a Human team would have such HUBRIS to think he could actually win a major.
The "pimping" label is just a preemptive strike against your reputation IF you should actually win a major then the you are "Pimping lucker" label can be allready applied. THEY ARE SCARED!!!! |
