29 teams have declared to run the PSDM gauntlet!!!!
The TV mean average looks like aroung 1460 TV...So some high TV teams have declared and one really high profile team stands ready to prove their mettle. |

This makes me think..
If your team is on the line, is there a certain race that you would go with?
Bravo to you Painstate!
Also, I threw one of my Ranked teams in the group =O

Not throwing in teams right now, because until I actually play them, I might have forgotten about this - which would be a bit embarrassing. But the next time I'm in the mood for it, I'll probably do. Don't expect me to throw Feed the Tree in or the Badge Hunters though.
I'll probably take it as a test for several of my teams whether or not I'll keep them. And I'll also have to find out whether I really have the balls for it or whether it kills all my joy when I lose a team due to bad dice or against some cheesy something. |

You activate how ever you want. There is only one rule in PSDM. If you lose before you win 5 your team is retired and you hit the retire button.
Other wise activate how ever you want.
Now all 6 of my Box teams have declared PSDM so I will be activating all 6 of them every time. That is just me, you do it how ever you want to.
My specific plan is this. I will activate all my Box teams, when they lose they are retired. IF one of those teams runs the Gauntlet and finishes off his PSDM run then I will not activate them until all 6 have either finished their runs or are retired. |

On the other hand, there's a badge for retiring a team, right? I guess I should put all the PSDM coaches onto my friend list and go hunting with my beloved humans... |

Well that badge: High Stakes also assumes you are playing by the rules that both teams agree to retire the losing team.
Furthermore the idea that some coaches will attempt to activate to kill off PSDM teams. Any coach of a team playing under PSDM rules has to figure that the other team is actually trying to win and kill them off. So it should come as no big surprise to that coach since that is what he signed up for to start with!!!!
SIDE NOTE: That is why the DMU (Dwarf Manglers Union) rubbed some coaches wrong. The dwarf team was set up as the victim of the DMU and that coach had no say in what was going on most of the time. Thus dorf boxers were turned into bikini thongs in rage as their DMU opponent was attempting to mangle their team into kibble bits for some DMU standing points.
I know this because the Buccaneers hold the record for the highest single game score in the DMU.
This coach did not like me to much at the end of this match |

Sure, I didn't mean that badge.
There are a at least two that could be interesting:
Shelved: Make an opponent retire a team with at least 250 games.
No use Crying: Make 10 teams Retire (Chaos only)
And of course the already mentioned
High Stakes: Loser retires his team (you must win for badge).

On a more pro PDSM note:
One can use Koadah's Blackbox statistics to determine the most successful teams on low TV and start into PSDM with rookie the strongest rookie teams. Cheesy?
Well, here's another challenge:
Work your way from the top of the following list to the bottom. Create a rookie team. Play in PSDM. Only move to the next (lower) team once you have achieved 5/X/0 streak.
Lizardmen (63.95%)
Dwarf (57.97%)
Skaven (55.41%)
Amazon (54.98%)
Undead (54.96%)
Orc (54.86%)
Chaos Dwarf (54.02%)
Wood Elf (52.92%)
Khemri (52.76%)
Norse (52.71%)
High Elf (52.61%)
Human (50.8%)
Necromantic (48.72%)
Dark Elf (48.66%)
Elf (46.73%)
Chaos (45.4%)
Chaos Pact (44.05%)
Underworld (43.31%)
Vampire (42.37%)
Nurgle (41.7%)
Slann (39.04%)
Ogre (34.89%)
Goblin (32.14%)
Halfling (30.08%)
Who will be first to become ultimate PSDM Rookie Team Champion by surviving PSDM with one rookie team of each race?
(Of course one could aim for such a title without playing the teams in a strict order. One could also aim for some sort of ultimate champion title without playing only rookie teams - it just seems both: harder and more convenient in terms of pixel-hugging.) |

Then how else are the Badge Hunters going to get all the badges? |

I guess "High Stakes" will be the last badge they'll go after. |

Do I have to declare I suffer from PTSD?
Thought it was enough to just run into you in the box and to accept... |

Will you be keeping the score in that group, so we can see the teams that are getting close to their 5 wins? |

Yes and then when we have 8 coaches who each have a team that has run the PSDM gauntlet we will throw them into a Black Box Brawl PSDM spectacular to see who is the Champion!!! There can only be one!!!!
But you do not have to volunteer for the Black Box Brawl Championship...You proved your mettle by just finishing the PSDM gauntlet run so If you do not want to take the final step I understand. You might just get attached to those pixels after that run.
Once we have 8 coaches and 8 teams that want a shot at Glory and Fame that is when we run the Box Brawl spectacular. |
