He's a hitter and wants to pile on. Either take pro for the non-critical block re-roll or Dauntless to deal with stronger opponents (who have as much Guard around as you have).
If you care about positioning game, Stand Firm and Fend are both great choices. If you haven't tried (mass) Fend on a dwarf team, now is a good time to start!

Fend dwarves are one of the only teams I approve of mass fend on because they have space for it. |

I like stand firm for him, tackle pomb is fantastic and even BETTER when they can't push you away from the guy you have marked to kill. allows for less blitzing and more blocking! |

Stand Firm.
don't forget to say NNNNNNNNGGGGNO! everytime your clever opponent forget to mark your players and try to push your blocker into the crowd with a doomed blitzer without the counter. |

Just didn't mention it because that dwarf looks selfish. |

Who are the others? I'm guessing Norse.
I'm trying it with Slann linos.
I think any (classic)lineman benefits from it, because it's their job to get hit, and it's great to not get hit again next turn, or piled on, or slow down a blitz.
What other skills people take on a no-skill, non-utility (kick, dp, etc), lino (human, for example?). I'm starting to think Fend is the winner after block. |

No just dwarves, chaos dwarves and zons. It's pointless on any other team imo, just a waste of tv. |

SF off top.. just make sure tontake more of it goin foward. So many wasted blocks with SF.
side note- when you think about it, its kinda crazy that these guys that fill the Lineman position start with 2 of the best skills out the box. Would Dwarves be UP if tackle was on their blitzers rather than the Longbeards? |
