That might be because it should be 001, not 01 - and that one is reserved for Wreckage, if he hasn't taken it yet. Wasn't mentioned, to be fair.
So, your team does neither follow the team naming nor the player naming convention... what shall I make of that? Are you renegades? Maybe individuals even? |

Alright, does anyone object against all kind of players getting assimilated on death in one way or another? So far the rules say some players' skills cannot be added to the Hive Mind. This is purely based on fluff, but I think we can assume that Borg are able to examine (for example) undead players, too.
Main reason is that we'd have to artificially avoid teams in Ranked/League/the Test Division and would be somewhat disappointed to get drawn against such teams in the Box.
I say: Let's simply assimilate everyone!
Edit:
Oh, and by the way: My Ranked Cube is heading towards the next Royal Rookie Rumble... |

I assumed we could assimilate skills from all types of players (so Thick Skull should be the new top of the list I think...) but we could only assimilate bodies from certain people, which is fine as that is only a bonus anyway.
That is how I'd do it anyway, because it means you don't avoid anyone. |

Report from Ranked Invasion Cube 001 encounter #2
Encountered Species002: Khemri
Ranked Invasion Cube 001 made contact with Species002: Khemri. The enemy vessel consisted of eleven subjects non of them available for assimilation. Analysis of this species power updated.
Information acquired: The entities refer to themself as Khemri. They prove to have great physiques, but are slow in progression. Once their defense has been overcome, especially the bigger entities tend to collapse.
Threat assessment: Medium. Threat assessment increases when Species002 outmaneuvers us.
Assimilations:
Tomb Guardian001
Skills: Regeneration, Decay
Skeleton001
Skills: Regeneration, Thick Skull
Complete data records of the encounter can be found here.
Thick Skull +1 |

Id just worry about a few coaches that may decide easy games like flings and gobbos are easier. maybe there isn't physically enough of them to examine so it takes 2 or 3 kills to get their skills? would entice players to play innately harder teams.
also, do foul deaths count? |

The downside to flings and gobbos is that they don't have (m)any decent skills to assimilate. All we can really learn from them is dodge, side step, and maybe diving tackle.
I believe foul deaths do count, but failed dodges, crowd pushes, etc. don't as far as I'm aware. |

I would count any kill that is listed in the game report... for simplicities' sake. |

Foul deaths do count, yes.
I'll update the list right after my game! |
