This guy https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=10361839 rolled 6+6 for next skill. Should I +st or not? NOS? Guard? |

Take the Str and your opponent has nowhere to hide, when the catcher goes a huntin' |

I've been around this community long enough to say:
The only time to not take +ST is on your already +ST Treeman, cos STR 8 is excessive, and he probably needs Block. |

What in da Heck?
ST8 is not excessive on a Treeman. He takes multiblock and can now with one assist lay out 3db on ST4 players.
That seems like a very good thing to me. Also with ST8 nobody will actually block him, thus he will live forever or until that rock hits him or he fails the GFI for a RIP. |

OK, maybe that's the only time you need to make a poll... |

You say this but I'm sure there's a ST 6 Clawpomb Mino wanting to take a shot at him. |

Chances are that mino does not take block, pushes, you turn off stand firm, the have -2D on the next... that said I might go double, on a tree. |

Bob Strongroots: first roll: 6+6. Died after 327 games, 3150 blocks, 19 touchdowns, 293 casualties, and 782 SPP.
Master Tree: first roll: 6+6. 183 games, 1474 blocks, 5 touchdowns, 146 casualties, 374 SPP. Still captain of the Sammiches.
Just saying.
(As for the OP's question - no idea, sorry ) |

I took +ST on a wood elf catcher recently. It wasn't that bad.
Obviously going from 2st to 3st isn't anywhere near as good as getting to 4ST, so it's something you do have to think about. If the team isn't too bloaty in other areas, adding essentially a high elf catcher to a wood elf team isn't that bad. And then there is the chorus of imbiciles who think +ST is always good, and make fun of people who wonder otherwise.
With that said, you could have just scrolled down and seen my thread about 6,6 wood elf catchers instead of making your own thread about the same thing. |

If only all you people just read and internalized Rat's posts, none of you would ever need to ask an Elf team question, ever. |
