Couple of little things, I will change the OP. Try and get on to #ssl when you can. Arrange games, talk smack, mock me for drawing Pro Elf myself... Let's get this thriving!
One thing I would like to gauge interest on. After the Grand Final, would people be keen on a straight KO Cup in between seasons? |

I love this rule. And I expect to be punished with it by drawing Elf.
I'm in.
I'd like to suggest one change to the random draw: nobody gets the same race as their SWL team |
Elf eh? Oh no... It could end up far... far worse... |

Well, with rules helping fouling, I can see those wee people ganging up in lots of fouls...
And tree's without loner are just cool.

Furry menaces? You've added mind reading to your skill set. My halflings will indeed be furry. Fluffy fluff. I'll try to get the team together by tonight. |

If this is a fortnightly league, that would mean 8-10 weeks of between-season KO games, with most teams knocked out weeks before it's over. Considering 16 teams didn't qualify for the playoffs in the first place and therefore just had 6 weeks "off", that's a potential 3+ months wait between seasons for some coaches.
If I should make a guess, I think most coaches would like the new season to start after the grand final. |

I think we'll just have rolling seasons.
KO cup might be a bit hard to try and get run over a small window between seasons.
I think the finals may be pressed a little quicker, 1 week to play the semifinals, then 1 week to play the grand final.
Meaning a 2 week break between seasons.
But on another note, can all coaches try and get their team created and applied to the group page by Friday the 10th of July.
Hopefully we can have the divisons set up and ready to go by the 11th of July. |

Agreed. We can consider a cup at a later time.
Get those teams ready! Let's get this underway! |

With non-SWL'ers taking part, can we have a default rule of arranging games in the SWL timezone (aka, Australian eastern time)?
ps. lol @ Karnov getting High Elves again. |

Unfortunately, there is no option for secret weapons to be sent to the ko box, you'll just have to stack up on bribes. |
