It's round 5!
*****
Hi all!
Our fifth and final game is upon us!
Please continue the excellent work, and I look forward to spectating the big matches to come this round. This time next week, we’ll be playoff bound!
I should take this opportunity to mention again the tournament that we are partnering with. If you can be in Amsterdam on Superbowl weekend 2016, you should attend the Dutch Open and enjoy all that the weekend entails. If interested, take a look at the 2015 TFF thread and contact Duke Jan.
Thanks,
Phil / Goo.

I'm off on holiday during the second half of this week (woo!), but there will be Wi-fi, so I can still stalk you and look after Euro Group 2. If I am not my usual prompt self replying to questions, I assure you I'll get to you as soon as I can.
Enjoy! |

We were just making sure that everything was ship shape and Bristol fashion, Euro Group 1 now has Round 5 drawn and ready to go. |

Coach happygrue and myself are facing off on Thursday at 9pm US Eastern Time. If my understanding of swiss rankings is accurate, this match will determine the winner of the NA group.

1 – Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardmen, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf
2 – Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann, Vampire, Underworld
3 – Goblin, Halfling, Ogre |
I don't get the logic on the first tiebreaker. If you're top equal with Goblins you're less worthy than if you did it with Wood Elves? Why?
Or is 3 a higher tier than 1?
(sorry if this has been answered already) |

3 is higher than 1, it's by number, not order on the list (I had a similar question at the start). |

Quite right. 'Higher' refers to number.
Should we use that TB again, I'll inude an example in the rules.
It's already Thursday of the last week, I hope all games are in hand! |

How about you simply reverse the order of the list? Starting with Tier 3 at the top. Should be clear enough then. |

All good, I think the confusion is the common use of "Top Tier" to describe the best races. Top is naturally higher than bottom.
Anyway. Hoping for a dark elf win in the final round of the Aus Group to give the Aus Title to a 14-year old High Elf BS artist.

The beauty of language, I'd probably get it wrong whichever way I did it!
All taken into account for next time. |
