I'm not too hung up on managing my TV. In my opinion any established team below 2000tv shouldn't be playing the game (bar injuries/deaths of course). |

Either that or tackle. Personally I'd prefer to have the tackler before the blodger on the team. |

Too easy to stay away from big scary MA 5 tacklers. Dodge and Break Tackle is good fun, and of course Pro, though more for the Loner Ogres than the real thing. I guess Ogres do lack for Tackle, but Guard tends to make up for it, along with DT snotlings.
Sure Hands too. Strippers are a pain, but you could perhaps save that option for a +AG Ogre. Eh, it works anyway, Chorfs and Khemri make it work. |

Indeed opponents can avoid the tackler but once he gets break tackle he becomes a big threat to important players.
For me, Ogres with three doubles get Blodge - Tackle or Blodge - Sure hands |

For me, double six on a skill with Ogres is a +ST Ogre.
Although Block is an awesome skill to have, I prefer to go for the stat increase instead. |

Nuffle is saying you could have had your +st block ogre, but will have to settle for something lesser now.
Go Pro. |

+1S and then BT for me since I like breaking cages. I would also like S6 and multi. |

I would take st6. With break tackle he will be the perfect cagebreaker. |

Take dodge for the RR on cage-breaking once you get BT. Or take tackle to knock people down more reliably. But you probably won't blitz with him on blodgers anyway. |

Turn down a +ST for block? on an ogre? Are you a crazy man?
ST6 > block for the simple reason of math. 1 in 36 to get +St and 1/6 to get block or any other double.
Also if you turn down +ST then he cannot get to ST7 or what if another Ogre rolls a +ST? you going to turn that down also. And then another ogre rolls a +ST? Well I quess block it is since you denied your self the shot of having 3 ST6 ogres.
Never ever turn down +ST on a ogre or heck any big guy. |

I am also a big fan of +S.
The other reasoning being that Ogre teams have considerable amounts of guard, and one single assist is enough to make the somewhat risky blockless 2dice into a pretty safe 3dice.
Even better, a 3 dice has 50% chances of downing a Blodger, and Blodgers are difficult for Ogre teams. |

+1 to that
Despite the use of Sure Hands on an Ogre team, having blodging Ogres is a very useful skill-set for the long haul with Ogres. |

I agree. If you ever got 2 +ST rolls on a big guy and had a 7 ST monster you wouldn't need to worry much about dice rolls because very few people are even going to bother attacking you! |
