Hi All,
A lot of rumors are telling that Specialist Games (including Blood Bowl) are coming back this Christmas.
I'm a bit sceptic, but there are some pics on Facebook posted by GW stores, some screenshots about GW app about it, discussions at Reddit, etc.
Does any of you already know anything about it? Hoping the best though (no table, dice, template, team, whatever changes).
Thx for any info!
Some available sources:
* BoLS article with pictures
* Warhammer App screenshot
* Some aggregated info
* Tabletopminis comment video |

No-one knows anything, other than it might be a thing (a thing of unknown mass or direction). That isn't going to stop the Internet taking off in a million different directions before we find out for sure. Perhaps wait and see?
See you in 400 pages, friends. |

You should probably get that checked...
I would be sceptical of any thing GW does that won't make it bucket loads of money, and basically the reason they stopped specialist games is they couldn't make you add a lot to them or often so once you had made your origional purchase most players didnt spend alot more.
As a testament to that i bought the origional set + my wood elf team, total cost i think i spent just over £100
The other TT teams i use (nurgle, vamps, orge, dark elf, lizard men, and skaven)
all made using Warhammer Fantasy and 40k models and of both games i have spent a hell of a lot more money on each than on any other TT game i play, and i play alot,
Path to glory, inquisitor, Mordheim, Battlefleet gothica, and on a non GW term Warmachine (yes i know heresy blah blah :p )
the point i am trying to make is GW's big earners are where it spends it's attention so don't get your hopes up. |

At most they just hand out licenses for some of the specialist games at a "discount". |

Well, I have the warhammer app, and it's on there... and mentions a Bloodbowl - "some of the great games the team are already eyeing up". |

I expected many directions, but that was not one of them.
Much as I love a tangent, let's leave it to the wild BB theories. This is for page 401. |

There have been rumours about a plastic BY boxed set for years with supposedly reliable sources claiming to have even seen models.
Maybe we'll finally see them. |

Allow Gothic game.....stop Gothic
Allow Mordhiem game, guess what?
Blood bowl game, yep lets stop that.
etc etc etc.
If anything was going to get people interested in the games nowadays it's a Videogame. Maybe this is what they have now thought.(until they decide to bin them again)
Whilst they don't make massive money but it's much more than that. How many people have got pissed off with GW over these decisions and others and as a result drifted away from the other things. You feel good about a company you are more likely to give them more of your cash. I have not spent a single penny since they discontinued Gothic, the final straw. And I play 40K Tau, Space marines and Dark Eldar and Fantasy with Empire*.If it works out properly I might buy again, though I'm still pretty pissed about fantasy battle but at least if this works out there is hope for it against this rubbish age of Sigmar nonsense.
But it would be a start.
