I've discussed/asked this in couple of different places, but haven't found a good answer yet. Is it possible (and if so how) to continue using Piling On in a standard league?
Ta,

IDK if PO has been disabled as a skill choice, but if you've got it you can use it. Costs a RR. |

And is it possible to change those things, i.e. to keep it as a skill choice? |

On a ruleset level the ability to disable skills is there. And if PO is set to available then all CRP options are there. So yes, it can be as before for L |

you need to create a new ruleset for your league and then make every coach in the league make new teams within that ruleset/group. |

or wait (hope) for things to change. i.e. a migration of your standard league to Custom League; or for more options to be made available for standard leagues. |

You can create rulesets here.
https://fumbbl.com/p/ruleset
You just have to attach the ID displayed in the ruleset-URL onto the respective fields in your group. Groups are not strictly affiliated with one ruleset and can be changed. |

If its not too much technical work, perhaps you can ask the admins (probably Christer), if they can apply a template custom ruleset to your league and its teams, and then you customise from there? |

The way I understand Christers comment in the thread Squiglet posted, this is nonsense and custom rules don't require custom teams.
Rather you won't be able to use custom team creation unless you made a team specifically for a league.
Everything after that is fair game. |

All of the new rules are attached to a ruleset, and can't be enabled just for a tournament. Some of the options may be added to the tournament creation screen at some point in the future, but things like custom skill selection and treasury limits belong with the custom rosters in the ruleset anyway. |
