Hello, for my league I have to create a new team and I got 1260 TV for this. I can buy 3 normal comp (only 1 by player).
I am going for Wood Elf.
3 RR / 1 Apo / 3 competence
1 Tree
2 Wardance
2 Thrower
2 Receiver
4 Lineman
I am not used to play wood elf so I am not really sure how to spend my competences. I was thinking about Grab on Treeman, and Wrestle on 2 Lineman to go on the LOS and be able to act as linebacker against blodge.
What would be your choice ? Thx for advices ! |

Well, it kinda depends on what other teams are in the League. Do you know?
For low TV Woodies I would always want a strip ball wardancer and a tackle wardancer. For the third skill I would think it goes pretty much anywhere.
If you can stack skills then wrestle on the strip ball wardancer. |

There should be : Dwarf, 2x Chaos Dwarf, Amazone, Lizardmen, Vampire, Orc and 2 still unknown teams |

1200 on the team and 60 on skills. Can't have it all, so sacrifice Tree, and if you get lucky first 2 games, buy a Tree, if not, don't.
So team:
1 x Apoth 50K
3 x Reroll 150K
2 x Dancer 240K
2 x Catcher 180K
7 x Line Elf 490K
1 x Thrower 90K
Take Strip Ball on one Dancer and Tackle on the other.
Then either Leader on Thrower, or swap thrower for another Catcher and take Block on a catcher, or Dodge on a Line Elf.
Kick, DP also viable.
While Wood Elves can throw the ball, they shouldn't. No one should. Running the ball is always better. 2 Throwers is at least on more than you need. Line Elves are hellishly good at everything, including throwing the ball, and catchers are arguably better ball handlers than throwers. |

Do I really need to have 12 players ? i think 11 for first games would be ok.
Only 1 Thrower should be enough you're right.
Strip Ball and Tackle are great you're right on WD.
Catcher should get XP fast so it is the best to put them comp at first ? |

Even with a Tree, and an apoth, you are going to lose elves every drive. How short are you used to being? All except maybe the vampires are going to hit you, I'd want a spare elf.
My top pick was thrower as a Leader caddy giving 4 rerolls for the dodging away and occasional hits. And maybe you are right, with so few skills take something useful on a line elf and look to skill the catchers fast. |

What PurpleChest said. I'd probably go Kick for the last skill. |

Thanks for advices ! with 3 dwarves or so in the league, kick would be a nice addon.
Maybe I could go :
1x Apo 50k
2x Reroll 100K
2x Wardancer 240K with 1 StripBall
2x Catcher 180K
1x Thrower 90K with 1 Leader
1x Tree (i love my tree) 120K
6x Lineman 420K with 1 Kick
So I got 12 players with all positionnals. Only 2 rerolls but 1 Leader to get the 3rd one. Kick and Strip Ball to put high pressure on ball on the opposite team.
I could also keep 3 Reroll + 1 Leader and only 11 players and 20K in bank. |

If you've 3x dwarves in the league i'd consider wrestle before tackle on a wardancer, since strip is probably going to do nothing vs dwarves, and it's unlikely they'll have a blodge carrier in a short term league. |
