If secure the ball doesn't end team turn then I think its a bit overpowered. I suspect only strength 3 and lower players can use it otherwise it makes Chorfs and Lizards probably too strong. |

I would find that fair, not gonna lie. I dont think it would make em too strong though, you are still sacrificing a key offensive player carrying the ball and that is not too easy a boy to dodge out of a tacklezone in a pinch |

Bull centaur or lizard ball carriers at 1000TV that pick up on 2+ would be pretty unstoppable for a lot of teams. |

Clarification from cyanide RE secure ball:
*It ends the players activation, not turn
*it requires no standing or non distracted player within 2 squares of the ball
*some players can't use it. (Big Guys can't but there are others that can't too)
*it's an additional Action, usual pick up rules don't change
*Secure the Ball is NOT a pick up, which means skills such as sure hands do not work |

Thats extremely strong...
Kind of invalidates aggressive defenses unless they removed sure hands from all the slow team ball carriers. Getting within 2 squares of the ball on a kickoff is a huge commitment, esp when the benefit is that you make them pick up the ball like normal.
If they don't have sure hands, then that at least makes it worth the risk, if they still have sure hands then aggro defenses are punished by this kind of hard. |

I for one am super glad GW didn't abandon their "no playtesting" policy this go around. |

I don't understand what Eye Gouge might do. Any hypotheses, based on the tiny amount of data we have right now? Is it similar to Defensive? Otherwise, what is it doing that's different to how marking a non-Guard player prevents them assisting already? |
