Yeah this sort of thing is good. I'd err away from displaying the number of (in this case) thumbs, and leave it vague - like "neutral", "positive", "consistently great" or something, based on % games played with thumbs up or similar. |

Just write an extremely wonderful and brown-nosing Match report! If its of quality then put it in your About info or in a blog post. |

I like the idea of a thumbs up since it might encourage people to just be nice to one another.
I can see it getting abused quickly if it was more than that though. |

Ability to be a fan of a team would be great! So in the news feed new matches pop up to watch replays, etc. In gamefinder the team should go blue rather than the coach. |

Maybe the thread should be re-labelled "recognising great coaches". |

I was going to say these myself.
Also you can write pm where you compliment him for being nice and maybe ask if he is active and if there is a way for rematch sometime.
Maybe talk about if he is in cups/tournaments/leagues and if he recommends them.. or if you know a good league, try to lure him to join! |

Aye, this is what I was going to suggest. No way of posting negatively, just a generic "props" button for a match, with no metric of average per total games etc.
Being able to fan certain coaches/teams would be brilliant. I know I'll happily spec matches of particular coaches (and /boo other ones ) |

Ooh, nice idea that
Not so convinced by the rate the coach idea. Stick with a couple of friend lists, one for dudes, one for douches. Works nicely |

As for rating, I think its neat, but not appropriate. For example, recently I got matched up with a guy, whom I had never played, that instantly said he didn't like something I said 2 years ago in a Blog, and he had decided I wasn't a nice person. In some aspects he was right, but we had never had a conversation before that point. |

I dont think its wise to rate coaches, some of us is more anti-social than others, while some are very social and liked by everyone. It doesnt say anything about how good they are when playing. Rather give an award to the most liked person on the site if thats what you want. Fan Favorite or something.
Team fan is a completely other matter, would be awesome to be a fan of some teams! |
