I had to go look at the game to jog my memory.

My tip would be to have two Ag5 leapers & make sure Kai fumbles the ball. Also, have a thrower that (safe) throws a long pass on a 2+. |

While we're at it, here are some more tips if you still have your dice to use with your elves.
I suppose scoring once with a wizard and a 9357 blodge, ss, leaper (who the fook is Kai or even N.P. compared to this thing?!) accompanied with support crew would be more of an expectation, especially if toss is won. The dice (or ineptitude?) that would lead to that not happening probably deserve to be swallowed.
@DDS, come on mate, I expected some solidarity when it came to having to park out of Prem and then becoming somewhat of a flat-track bully in Conference.  I think my record was just 3 conceded with all 7 games played. |

Alas, scoring is not really the problem. To stop your ST4, guard, Piling-On loaded offense scoring and while doing that maiming my whole team while doing that will be the real challenge.
Now, I do agree that Gillian is rather nice piece. I equally dont believe she will see the whole game, you will be coming after her and being only ST3 and AV7, will not safe her for long.
What comes to Kai, I really like that piece. I occasionally see pieces are so nicely build that you wish them to play well and not get hurt - Shntsyeooa and Iolas maybe best examples, but there is many more.
The pieces I usually like seeing are the ones that are build for either playing ball or stopping other people playing ball. Pieces build for bringing destruction to other teams I find boring even if I see how that tactic can be fruitful and so much easier than playing ball.
Obviously, for some (many) teams building players that can play ball requires rather lucky skill rolls, and for some (many) teams building players designed for removing other teams pieces from field requires equally lucky skill rolls. I quess, quite often - if not always - teams just build naturally certain way.
Quite often it comes to this; if you remove enough of my pieces, I am unable to stop you scoring and will not be able to score when it is my turn to try. Thats why I like minimum of 13 players which is hard to sustain for a long run. For me, game against Faulcon, cost 3 / 4 players and anything between 200k - 350k gold which I cant afford.
Ok, so, to finish this off - since I have long forgotten my point, if there was any - I say this; Wood elves rule.
