The word casualty is used incorrectly. The team suffers a casualty. The player suffers an injury. The player is a casualty. Thus, it should say:

I understand why the word casualty has been misused like it has; there are 2 rolls related to injury. One to see if there is an injury and, should an injury have been caused, the other for the type of injury.
Also I liked the way a death was emphasised in the LRB4 client.

The first roll is called the injury roll (you roll on the injury table). The second is called the casualty roll (you roll on the casualty table).
Change "suffers" to "is" and add "roll" to the decay line I think it works.

B) 'suffers a 2nd casualty ROLL' works fine, think of it as an abbreviation if it really twists your knickers that much. |

Well, I care at least partly, since I try to be as precise on language usage as possible. Especially when using the English language, since I'm far from having mastered it. So, if it's incorrect, I'd like to have it on the list with a VERY low priority.

a german guy i know asked me about some peculiar phrase, and then commented about needing to improve his idiomatic english. hilariously, that automatically made him more aware of english grammar than most english native speakers, who have no idea what idioms are |
