I will say one more thing, since Emphasy did add the lie that I "threatened" him. The harshest thing I said in the entire chat was "I recommend you don't join a league in the future if you aren't sure you are going to follow through with it." |

I know this is the most important thing in maxlongstreet's life, but seriously, when a guy cant understand that real life problems etc are more important its impossible to talk them into being a little reasonable. While I`m the first to agree that Emphasy`s concession/retirement sucks, I`m also sure he had reasons. I know him and he is a cool guy - really noone who drops out of a league for nothing. You barking him up the tree doesn`t make it better, it just aims for humiliation and forces him into defense.
So I think we all got your point and you can cut short the ranting - I`m sure Emph will calm down then, too. |

Actually, from what I hear, this isn't the first time Emphasy has bailed on a league. He may be a "cool guy" in real life--He may be Mahatma Ghandhi for all I know--But quitting in a fit of pique and then angrily justifying it is completely lame and I won't hesitate to say so. I'm not making any personal remarks or cursing here--That would be Emphasy's domain. |
