Hi guys,
I need your help. My wife and I like to enjoy watching good TV series on DVD in the evening whilst our daughter sleeps upstairs. I would very much appreciate your help in suggesting things we could watch!
So far we have seen: 24 (series 1-6), Alias (1-5), Battlestar Galactice (1-3), Lost (1-2), Heroes, Life on Mars (1-2), West Wing (1-7), Jonathan Creek (1-5), Spooks (1-4), Firefly.
So what else is worth watching?
Many thanks!

It's old now, but there's X-Files... alternatively any of the Star Trek series.
I particularly liked DS9 From season 4 on.
There's a couple of ideas anyway! |

If you liked BSG, then Babylon 5 is an excellent choice. |

Bones. I don't care what you think about it, watching them through in order lets you know it's awesome. Ditto Veronica Mars.
Being a geek, I'd say Buffy, as well, but..... |

CSI (original, though New York isn't bad, definitely not Ginger) - though it's on TV all the time anyway.
I'd second Futurama |

Not a series, but from what I've seen you post in terms of non-BB issues (and not necessarily your religion, either)I am fairly sure you'll love Baraka. [Or/and if you don't mind some dated imagery and if you are able to stand Philip Glass on a synthesizer have a look at the "originals" Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi].
I consider Baraka the most ... hmm ... emotionally and visually impressive and the "must see" of all of them. Each of the movies has it's own voice (Naqoyqatsi is very abstract, but I like it for that) and topics (the focus on environmentalist themes is much stronger in the Qatsi's ... which makes me like them given I am one of those Environ-mental people), however.

If mini-series count, track down "V" |

I would suggest you try to find "Spaced". British sitcom done by same guys that did Shaun of the Dead. Only 2 seasons, but really good. |
