I was lucking enough to roll up +MA and +AG bonuses for this Gutter Runner:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5192269
So, how do I skill this guy? Do I make him a psycho cage-breaker with Leap and Strip-ball? Do I make a defensive stud out of him with Dauntless, Block, etc.? Do I make him a one-turner with Sprint and Sure Feet? Or something completely different? I'm open to any advice. Thanks! |

any double rolls id suggest ( in this order): dauntless, horns, claw, rsc, frenzy (no-one would be safe near the sides)
normal rolls: block, strip ball, leap, sidestep, tackle
just the way id do it though.
i wouldnt bother making a 1 turner. you only need to chain push him once anyway to score a 1 turner |

I'd go same on doubles, but Block tackle leap ss strip ball instead |

I'd personally give him that 1 turn option, though block of course is most important before that and probably leap. |

In order..
Normals: Block, Sidestep, Strip Ball, Leap, Tackle
(Block and Sidestep first to keep him alive imo)
Doubles: Dauntless, Horns, Multiple Block, Foul Appearance |

On the double I'd give him:
Very Long Legs, Foul Appearance, Big Hand, Spikes, Guard, Nerves of steel.
In that order.
On the normal:
Block, Sidestep, Catch, Sprint.
And use him as fisher.
Get him to the end zone and throw the ball at him. |

You'd do what now?
Anyway I agree daunt then horns, not sure I'd go claw + rsc he'll rack up a ton of cas, likely age then likely be useless to you. Probably go daunt - horns - frenzy - Dump off. Why dump off? helpful for stalling or that free pass attempt to another player you want to score with and skill that won't cause a turnover if you fail and your opponent has already blitzed. If dump off sounds lame to you then FA. If you manage to roll 4 doubles without him getting RIP then I'd be very surprised.
Normal rolls Block - Strip ball - tackle if you have daunt by now SS if you dont - whichever of those two you didn't take - Leap - Pass Block. |

you dont like the idea of a player that can pretty much get to, take down and injure pretty much anybody on the whole pitch? |

Paulhicks got it spot on, but the fifth doubles is silly
Also, if it gets daunt and/or horns I'd start considering tackle before strip ball.
Edit: ignore focus and honkytonk |

youre quite right.. the 5th doubles was a bit silly. i actualy should have pointed out that id vever take all 5 doubles rolls because it would leave him without block and therefor not much of a blitzer anyway. |

It was especially silly since "frenzy will make people scared to go near the sidelines"..... they will be far too scared to be anywhere but serfed if he already has claw/RSC/horns/daunt... |

Right...
Thanks for the warm welcome to the board.
Anyway I'd still suggest the oneturner rather than a STR 2 Blitzer.
Problem with oneturners is that they have a poor tendency to attract a lot beatings. Hence the survival skills. |
