All groups have been the resolved and the following is the races that qualified to the final...
Dark Elf: 4
Wood Elf: 3
Dwarf: 3
Human: 1
Lizardmen: 1
Skaven: 1
Chaos: 1
Orc: 1
Vampires: 1
Same Old Same Old when it comes to races spread. Good luck to everyone. Especially to Forrest_Gump, SillySod and Doowa who are trying to guide Humans, Lizards and Vamps to there first finals victory!

Who I Want To Win: SillySod's Vampire
Who Will WIn: Azure Fire
Reason: SillySods vampires because in the first game i watched him in, against the other vampire team, he whined and moaned about his luck in majors and after he said that, everything went his way! It would be very funny for him to win! Also hes using Vampires and i support the underdog. Azure fire will actually win because he beat PeteW in his qualifier. Nuffle is with him! |

If you dont mind i ll start with a small analysis of the participants...
I ll take the easy part - the three dorf teams - and hope somebody continues:
Dirtiest Dorfs Ever - Dwarves - TheSpoonyBard
These dorfs are dirty! DP as first skill on all dorfs (except for stat increases) - that smells bad!
They have an ag 4 blitzer which is nice for dorfs, and a ma6 st4 blitzer. However, these dorfs are too dirty.... not enough other skills, not enough cash. Even with a good coach and a winning record, they wont go far....
Humongous - Dwarves - BigBear1
BigBear1 is a rather new coach, respect for reaching the finals! However, these dorfs lack pure TS and money. A ST4 longbeard is nice, and two diving tackler might be of use versus elves... But there are some (imho) bad skill choices like dp on blitzer and troll slayer.... I guess they are out in round 1.
Zwerghasen - Dwarves - Blutwurst
A solid dorf team with 2 st4 longbeards, some blodge, enough MB and DP. 150k cash can bring some support. However, neither the team nor coach Blutwurst have a very good record - but he made it to the finals, on the other hand. Zwerghasen might win some matches, but i dont see them winning the tourney...
After all: No dorf champion for the UI. |

Who Will WIn: Cult of Shadows - Chaos - Nachtogen
Reason: FG is a great and classy coach and i like him to win cause i support the underdog as well. nachtogen will win because he has a great team, coaches brilliantly and will simply destroy any opposition  |

Thanks to the dark elf / dwarf swap, the real same old same old spread of orcs and chaos has been broken. Hooray for a Vampire team and lots of dwarves! |

Who I want to win: Monkey Island Swashbucklers... if for no other reason than the humies with the team name that rolls off your tongue needs more love and support!
Who will win: Viper Strike. Amino Acid is a smart Krox - look out. |

Who I want to win: Die Meech, Die - frankly the only think more awsome than the team is the coach and I'll be with him every step of the way.
Who will win: Die Meech, Die - how can this team not win? They have a full compliment of players, a fine array of hypnogaze, and a stunningly cool name. The only thing I see stopping them is a total dicing. |

who i want to win: honestly?...and it sickens me to say this.....
die meech die...
he's the only coach who played the game the way it's meant to be...none of this nancy boy "oh let's pillow fight to prep for the tourney".....too many coaches "pamper" their teams in preparation for tournaments, and it's revolting....
sillysod actually played his team the way it should....he took on the harsh teams, he played anyone, and yes, while his team may have suffered a little bit, he has been true to the spirit of competition.....

While I hate that so many dwarfs have qualified I have to say that I am amazed at how few Orc teams have qualified - which makes this one a very special tournament indeed..... |
