Hi mates,
today i started a bb game, and my TV was 80k less than my opponent.
When the client asked me for petty cash i input 20k in the window. I tought that in this way i can reach a total of 100k of inducements.

But in the window of "buy inducememt" my total available was only 80k.....so my question is: how does petty cash work?

tnx for the answers

The sequence goes like this:
(1) withdraw money from your bank account to petty cash. This money is added to your TV
(2) calculate the TV difference.
(3) Get inducement money based on the TV difference after you've withdrawn money from your account.

The Petty Cash dialog is pretty clear about how much you will get for free and your total amount of inducements. It updates as you type the amount you put in, so pay attention and you won't loose unnecessary money.

If your TV is 1600 and your opponent's TV is 1680, then you would have 80k available for inducement.

If you added 20k to your TV, then you would be 1620 TV, so with your opponent being 1680 TV you would get 60k for inducement, plus the 20k cash you put in (still 80k).

If you want more inducements than you have available, then you have to put in the full amount for those inducements. So if you had put in 100k, your TV would be 1700 (1600+100) and with your opponent's being 1680 he would now get 20k on inducements (albeit with nothing to spend it on).

Hope that makes sense.

Perhaps the client could offer a pop-up, if 0 < Petty Cash <= Inducements? That seems to be the range where the Petty Cash does nothing.

Should a feature request made out of this?

seems straight forward to me. why do we need another popup?

Wow, I didn't even know how this worked. Thank you for explaining (I didn't even ask this question).
