Always loved the idea of an addition to the Orc roster, the Greenskins answer to the Troll slayer... but crapper...

0-2 Savage Orcs Mv5 St3 Ag2 Av8* Frenzy, *Tattoos. 60,000

Where tattoos work like the old He Plays like a demon, demonic aura Av rules...
(*if unfamiliar: never get modified by MB, or similar...)

That would be awesomely cool!

Should reduce either the blitzer or BOB number by two then although you have too many positionals then. You'd might want to skip the tatoo stuff though, cause Wardancer have similar tatoos in WHFB and we don't want them do be immune to MB won't we Razz

No sense in making them AG2 by the way.

like orcs need to have more positionals....I vote for removing black orcs or blitzers altogether to balance them.

we used to allow 2 savage orcs to replace 2 blitzers in the roster.. they were funny

They need possitionals because they are average to crap at everything except AV
Their possitionals are Thrower, Blitzer, Blocker, Troll (?Goblin, not reallly a possitional...), pretty much the same as any other team now that most have 0-4 on Blitzers...

Humans have, Throwers, Blitzers, Catchers, Ogre = same no. of possitionals

Orcs are far more powerful than Humans. You will find that the extra 4 St4 players, all with stength access are a much more powerful addition to the roster than 4 catchers.

Look at the skill access an Orc team has compared to Human. 9 strength access to 4, all the rest remains the same (except goblins can't get general access).

The extra point of av on their linemen is very important, especially when it compliments all the strength access skills.

So adding AV8, none strength access Savage Orcs would be ok... Smile

...I'm not seriously asking FUMBBL to do that... before anyone says it, though please do: I know they wouldn't and no-one would want them to. I think they would be cool!

...One thing I notice with 4 BOB on the field is how damned slow they are (as Blockers should be!)

Surely Humans have 5 with St accesss including an Ogre... and they are faster, leaner and more scorier than Orcs... anyways a debate on whoes got the upper between Humans and Orcs could go on for a long, long time...

I'll solve it for you real quick. Orcs win.

Don't get me wrong, this is a cool idea for house rules but equally it needs to replace something else in the Orc roster, probably get rid of two of the Blitzers (or all of them and give the savage strength access and maybe move 6, less armour = fasta). Making him slightly more pricey is probably a must because he'll be quite good once he gets block too.

You know what would be awesome, but isn't worth its own thread?

Chaos teams should have their skills randomly rolled every game - so you never have the same team twice!

(In case you're wondering this came off of the tattoo idea - if a tattoo can imbue you with powers, you could just have some kind of War Paint, but then you could change it every game - I know it's a long, roundabout wat to get here from there, but that's how my mind works!)

The goblin is the Orc catcher. If you claim the humans have 11 positionals, then i can safely claim that Orcs have 15.
