I assume this is the right forum to have suggestions for the BB client.
I have a hard time distinguishing between the opponents players. Even my own sometimes. I use the abstract icons (actually letters for the different positions) because the pics are even tougher to distinguish.
But it would really help if you could also show the numbers. Because if two of the opponent dwarfs have guard it is important to identify these. So I have to go through the players quite a few times during the match.
So if there was an option to show the numbers, or even numbers and letters that would be great.
Probably letters and numbers becomes to cluttered, so having the letters and maybe being able to show the numbers when pressing 'Alt' would be great. So a kind of a toggle function.
What do you thnik?

There is an easy way to avoid confusion: Just mark your and you opponent's players:
With shift + right click you can add a few letters/numbers to players or fields on the pitch. Very, very useful!
Edit:
I use it every match on both, my opponent's players and mine. |

Yeah it's a great feature and I use it every game. Makes sure you never forget Sidestep Block Dodge Jump Up Guard etc.
For example -

um, the players are different colours, no?
unless you've got vision issues (and fine, use the markers as suggested above if you have), this shouldn't be an issue. |

you failed to injure one elf there jimmy. Next time try to be faster than the ref.
And on topic, using the markers is a great option. I often regret not doing it when i lose a game due to that sneaky diving tackle or I foul the rookie lino instead of the clawpomber at his side |

I always mark opposing and even my own players. G for guard is most valuable to know! |

Thanks. Did not know about that feature.
And with regard to colours. They are different coloured, but not the same type.
Human lineman all have the same colour. |

Do find it a bit confusing sometimes when playing a mirror match with blue skinned zombies. |
