Now I'm curious what you would take on this guy (last skill before legend):
Rahnaic Moonclaw
8 4 5 7 Block, Dodge, Leap, Side Step, Mighty Blow
I know there are probably more options, but going with the fluff I ruled those out.
Oh, and don't bother looking at the team, he pretty much IS the team.  |

From those options...
Frenzy or Tackle.
Seems like you want him to be a killer, so why bother with anything which doesn't help him kill? |

I'd go MA. As Reisender said when I asked about a similar player. you use it every time he moves. More movement is never bad, and as an extra bonus, with MV 9 sidestep ag 5 dodge leap, he's a pretty darn good one turner. |

In this team he probably is your main ball carrier and you will have to play loads of games to get a catcher so I would go with +MA. And probably tackle as next skill. The other dancer I would go stripball, wrestle. |

Actually he got the last SPP he needed to skill from his first one-turn score against as ST 4 LOS in an otherwise embarrassing match against lizardmen! 
My second OTS ever.
I'll postpone the decision for a while and wait for some more answers. Without +stat option if would have probably been Frenzy or Tackle. +MA and +AV (the pixel hugger in me screams for it!) are both tempting as well (plus, it's a gift from Nuffle...). |

It's a box team so AV seems kinda pointless.
You're in that death zone thing, so MA doesn't help you kill people as much as tackle/frenzy do.
If it weren't Box and you weren't doing Deathzone I'd go with MA or AV, but since you are...

+MA also helps to reach the targets though, and probably with even one less roll to be made. The tree also likes winning and someone has to score...
I think I'll go +MA, though the last game showed that either are great, +MA (OTS, a couple of GFIs to be made elsewhere) and Tackle (at least three skinks would have been brought down with Tackle).
One last argument for +AV in the box: While it's true that there's a lot of claw around, the guys with the claws are not getting a shot at him that often (at least as long as a few guys remain) and as the jack-of-all-trades he has to do so many dodges and leaps, that he falls prone from that from time to time as well - one more AV might help in that case. Not to mention that he is kind of a preferred foul target. |

Sure, I never take AV anyway, but just figure that with more unavoidable claw it's even less interesting then it otherwise would be. Your point about falling down is a good one though.
Reaching targets with AG5 leap MA 8 should be trivial unless you need to reach someone at the other end of the pitch, but clearly MA9 helps him score more easily. MA9 is what I would pick, but I kinda figured I'd fluff the fluffy of the Deathzone for you |

Tackle next seems vital, and you can use the other dancer for strip ball. |

The team isn't at really high tv so wont face huge amounts of claw most likely. Though it will come round more than he might like. |
