i think a player that havn t played for years shouldn t be considered active...
it will add some motivation to new coaches to get their stars there!!

as an example, from the highest passing list none of the 25 players have played for more than a year...
I would like to know who are the best passers right now... not in 2006...

Iam a big fan of the top lists and check them often.

The list was culled on the conversion so that is a bonus.

As much as I dont like the top lists littered with players who have not taken the pitch in years removed, my limited knowledge of how the list is actually compiled would probally require more work for Christer than its worth.

At the moment, Alan Sherer is the top premiership goalscorer of all time.

He now longer plays, but he is still the top goalscorer of all time Wink

I agree that there should be an all time best list but why not have a yearly best of as well.

Yes........ but he is no longer active.

The top lists here have an option for all time. So in your analogy he would show in that.

I agree that, if it were easy enough to do, players who haven't played within x amount of time, wouldn't appear in active/current top lists.

And if you are looking at top 25 active passers in ranked, at least one of them (Shindahl) is still highly active Razz
