My Northmen ( http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=693255 ) are really struggling at high TV in the box (180/190), i know this ain't the optimum playing field for Norse but I really can't see dipping below 180, especially since I am considering taking a Yhettee again. I've played the majority of my games without since reaching such a high TV and I feel like they need 1-2 skills before even questionably pulling their weight.
I would like to hear what the community has to weigh in on the matter. I won't be activating for 24 hours + so there's time to sway me either way on the matter because I have convinced myself of both taking and not taking.
PS: I have to buy 1/2 players anyways and thoughts on +ST Lino with a Niggle. |

Take the Yhetee and drop 1 rr, you have Leader, 3 rrs are enough.
Fire the niggled +1 ST lineman. |

Everyone has block.
2 RRs is enough. |

Given that it is B, I'd sack the niggler. Bloat plus niggle plus av7 = lots of TV that leaves the field real fast. |

If you want to play with the big teams, you need a schtick. You're not a baller if you're norse, so who are you going to outbash at 1800+ TV with no Snow Troll? Heck, by 1800 you're probably not even outbashing DEs, with or without a troll.
I'd hate it, but that ST4/AV7/n guy is spp waiting to happen. The +ST is only useful when mixing it up, and he had even less staying power than a typical norseman. Sack him. |

Dropping a RR and adding the Yhettee will put the team at 195 with 12 players (dropping niggler on the way).
The alternative being dropping the RR (seems to be a lil consensus with that, no argument with leader) and hiring 2/3 linos to bring the team to 13/14 players & 191/196 tv respectively (dropping the niggler otw). |

Buy a Yehti. He is 16 Spp away from the most powerful combo in the game. |

I'm not a fan of the ST at all, but on the other hand, they are fun.
If you play B for fun go for it. |

Well yeah I play for fun but you know that consists of staying competitive. |

You can't really play for fun (unless you are masochist) in an environment full of people not playing for fun and abusing rosters. |

I second MattDakka´s first post - but get at least 13 players on the roster - and yes get that Yehtee. |

Keep the plus strength. These stat gifts are there to be used, particularly if you like building up some kind of player history. Maybe overall he wont make you win more, perhaps even less. But no doubt he will do some great stuff. |

Well, if being competitive matters then ditch the ST.
They are largely worthless bloat. |

+S is extremely important on S4 players. On S3 players, all it does is bring you up to match the Clawpombers who are blitzing you, so they only need 1 assist to 2 die you. This is far too easy. So +S on a S3 player isn't really worth it, unless he brings something (else) special to the table, like a leaping stripping dark elf etc.
However, if you DO have a special player (I don't think a +S norse linemen qualifies) niggles are not nearly as bad as many people would have you believe. My pestigor has survived 200+ SPP with a niggle, and I've been actively trying to kill him for the last 85 or so SPP (using him as bait for enemy clawpombers etc); and even with that, the niggle has made a difference in precisely 6 matches, 5 of which were regenned or KO's. |

+ST with AV 7 and niggling injury = TV Bloat.
As Topper said, take some reserves (up to 13-14 players). |
