The World Championship is on its way but one nation didn't come. The Moot.
As a result we have an opening in the World Championship that could be handed out based on a number of things.
If you have any suggestions, post them here. |

Just for this one time, I say let the previous winner get a guaranteed spot. If he qualifies on his own, then I say give it to the team with the best record that would not normally qualify (TD diff then CAS diff for tie-breakers). |

It's a good way to go. Why I haven't reserved a spot for the former winner is this:
Every team should perform and play competativly in its national league. If you know already based on some criteria at the beginning of the saeson that you will qualify, the national competition is obsolete. Games get all strange if you have nothing to lose.
Fluff on the other hand... is one of the fundaments of this league. Why not reward it once? |

+1 to the TPC/previous winner love, and MAAAAAAAN is he hella good looking. (also gives the better chance for whatever fellas in whatever nation the last world champ goes in to put 2 teams forward)
kind of like the way champions league winners liverpool in 2005 were allowed in the next year even though they didnt qualify. |

Speaking of fluff and rewarding the coaches' efforts in this area: How about handing out stripes for fluff based on a public voting at the end of a season? Stripes are not bound to a team but to the coach, so it would only fit (as teams wouldn't be rewarded for... well... being themselves, if you look at it consequently). Maybe there could even be a stripe for two or three teams, just to give it more weight.
Creating good fluff in my opinion should not influence the outcome of the main competition though. |

To be completely honest, any selection of "winner of tournament" as listed on the first(!!!) options cant, and should not be done now.
It is fine to take a decision, on policy for season three however since we don't know the team nor the nation that benefits yet. |

I have a new suggestions:
Every coach which team doesn't qualify for the WCS, can sent their strongest (SPP) & uninjured (no permanent or current injury) player to apply for the last spot.
The player must have a text based profile about himself, his carrer, development or season.
(at least 80 words)
Furthermore the player needs an individual Portrait.
The 2 strongest players (highest spp) and 1 player (decided by the Lords) will be shortlisted.
Then there will be a public vote between these 3 players.
And the winning player can go back to his team and tell them, that he has qualified the team to the WCS. |
