I want to make a tabletop BB game from scratch. I really like the sprites fumbbl uses and I was hoping to get my hands on the sprites, edit them a little, print them, and mount them them on 1.5"x1/5" card standups.
Can anyone point me to the directory where these images or stored? If not, is there someplace online I could find them?
Thanks in advance for any help. |

Please note, if you are doing this for your own personal use, that is cool.
If you intend to steal them, and make a tiny magnetized version of BB that you sell from your shitty little unscrupulous company, that is not cool. |

I remember seeing that game on ebay & such. Were the icons really stolen from fumbbl & was any action taken? |

ThunderDome: Master-Blaster rules Barter Town! Thanks bro.
WhatBall: Ha! No, I've seen that magnetic set. I'm not making any money off this. I just wanted a little set that I could use at the pub with friends. I just don't have the gusto to get all the figs, paint, thinner, brushes, flock, etc. to make a respectable BB set. |

I know i'm proberbly out of order here.
but seen a few people now who join and ask questions about their TT game/player/league but never actually play here. Not sure why it frustrates me but it does.
Regarding his crap game Whatball was talking about, Can GW issue them with a C&D order as well? |

Yup.
If you check the site linked in the post and zoom the image, you can quite clearly see the FUMBBL sprites. I know neither I nor harvestmouse were asked. I don't think any other icon makers were either.
They also have a companion kit, with all Stunty teams, which I am certain are likely stolen from us as well. I really want to know if the not for sale/resale Stunty Handbook is also included with it.
On top of that, they completely ripped off the GW dugouts and range ruler. I think setting GW upon them would be more effective and deserved...
Suffice to say, I would never buy anything from them. |

Hey, a nice return would be to keep us up to date with your progress, it'll be nice for us to see.
Also if you are editing icons, that could be useful to us, so if you could keep us up-to-date on that, I know at least it would be interesting.
I remember a guy in Japan did something similar about 6 months ago. He made blocks with different status players on each side. You may wish to have a look at that.
As long as it's not for commercial purposes, feel free to contact me or post here if you have any questions. |
