One of the two flamers on my horrors team https://fumbbl.com/p/team?team_id=780235 has rolled a double 5 for its first skill. Any advice on skill choice? I have no idea what to do although I am thinking of skipping the stat increases. |

Either take the MA, or take Block. |

Pass or Hail Mary Pass. Nerves of Steel is good too. Get Disturbing Presence on a Horror or two, and boomz! |

On 6+4 I'd take AV. Flamers are targets and blow themselves up a lot. But yeah, HMP or NoS, as I said above.
Nerves is really much better on Flamers than you'd think. |

I think I'd probably go HMP, although NoS would be interesting, allowing bomb-fun whilst marked. Probably wouldn't take a stat on this fellow. Block would be good, but boring. Take something to improve the bomb-fun.
Edit: I love P'nk W'ff'rs |

Pass is the smart option. HMP is the fun one. |

pass or accurate, no need for hmp, he is str3 and not stunty so he can stay close to the action. |

I was tempted by HMP but I thought it was bugged when used with bombs?
Pass or NOS are tempting me, NOS would be interesting as the flamers do get marked quite often.

+1
For HMP the bugs are there, but if you can live with them then follow HMP with diving tackle for a nice sweeper.
I would go pass or accurate before NOS. |

I'd go Block. With Dodge at 16 he's a nice ST3 blitzer that is 'safe' in the action, and dangerous to mark with ST2 stunties. And with a 2nd double for Tackle... |

Block is never a bad shout but you can make a Greater Horror that is effectively a ST3 blitzer with just Block and Horns (both normal rolls) and he can get tackle on a normal as well (he won't be able to leap in though).
Depends on your style I guess, if you prefer bash over bomb then go block, otherwise take a passing skill and have fun until he blows himself to smithereens! |
