Hi!
I'm going to BeerBeer Open in Helsinki next saturday, the first NAF tournament in Finland (or at least first in many many years.) I will play a necromantic team and the rules allow a 1100TV team with either:
1 doubles and 4 normal skills
2 doubles and 2 normal skills
3 doubles skills
I'm leaning towards the first option with the following roster:
Werewolf, block
golem, block
golem, guard
wight, tackle
wight
ghoul, block
7 zombies
3 RR
2 FF
It's a pretty solid build, but are there better choices? Should the other golem take guard aswell? The werewolf could also benefit from juggernaut. I'm also thinking about mighty blow on a wight or the wolf. Any suggestions?
Pictures of the painted team will be uploaded on friday so stay tuned ;P |

Forgot to mention, only one skill per player. |

It seems he didn't use it (generally, in TT tournaments, when double skills are allowed, they're not mandatory : you can take simple skills instead if you want to). |

What if I tried to go kill all mens and take mighty blow on the wolf and on the second wight? I'll propably take guard on both golems. |

Tough one. Mb is great on wolves, but with so few skills you want reliability. I would give the wolf block or wrestle. Blodge the ghouls and guard 1 x golem and tackle 1 x wight.
Wrestle sounds great on the wolf now I come to think about it!
There is also a strong argument for a dirty player |

Consider leader to save money on a reroll. i.e. Take leader, drop 1 reroll and you can upgrade a zombie to a second werewolf!
I would also have just 12 players in the roster and replace another zombie with a second ghoul. 12 players is plenty in a regen tournament for a regen team.
Then take block and/or wrestle on the ghouls and werewolves. Forget tackle/mighty blow. Get some reliability in blocking. |

Another suggestion (from a coach that has never actually played a necromantic team, so take it with a grain of salt):
Wolf - Wrestle
Wolf
Wight - Tackle
Wight - Guard
Golem
Golem
Ghoul - Block
Ghoul - Leader
Zombie
Zombie
Zombie
Zombie
940 on 12 players
2 rerolls 140
1080
You could consider swapping tackle on the wight for block on the second wolf. The golems will just have to rely on their increased strength for getting the job done. I put guard on the wight as he's significantly more mobile than a golem. |

I found Leader is much better on a fodder zombie. av8 and regen. |

Won a tourney with necro this year (40 players).
1100 is hard, having to choose toys! I like your opening roster, an unprotected wolf with not many rerolls is too chancy for me. |

I like the idea behind the 12 man roster but 13 players gives me a good chance to do some fouling late in the half or if I get an early advantage in numbers. Choosing skills for necros is hard. Maybe I go for block/guard. |

I considered leader, but the roster is too low on skills to justify. Also dont take tackle. Frenzy is good enough as pseudo tackle. If you want tackle anyway, then drop a golem, and buy a 2nd wolf instead. |
