A brief history...
Nearly a year and a half ago I began my project to rework the CRP Blood Bowl rosters into something, well, better. A bit more fun in places, a bit more competitive in others. You can read about how it developed here: Rosters Forum.

With the introduction of custom rosters I was able to create a ruleset containing all my ideas. The group page for this, as well as details about where all the rosters are currently can be found here: Group Page

With custom rosters though came a raft of awesome league ideas now made possible, and as I was busy at the time I decided against starting a league.

Fast forward to now, and I have a bit more time again. The new edition of BB is coming out soon and I'd like to see the rosters get some play.

What now then?
Now, I'd like to run a league. Ideally it would be highlander format (one team per race) but I think that would depend on how many players we get and whaat they'd like to play. Random race assignment is a possibility.

To start with I think we'd need at least 8 players. Ideally a full 24! I'd like to run the league without participating if possible, so I can remain more objective when looking at changes to the rosters.

So, this is the sign-up! I'll look to launch as soon as we have enough players. EU timezone preferable. Standard 10 day round probable. Full CRP rules. I've got a bit of free time over the weekend so if we're ready to start I'll kick it off then.

I'm confused. Do I now need to create a new team for the league, or will my existing human team automatically be included?

For fairness we should probably have new teams, but as the old teams didn't play many games I'm happy to include them.

@fluffy: They won't be automatically included as this is a full scheduled league. I can include them if you want me to though Smile

I'm gonna pass; just one bit of advice from my play with the humans in the earlier testing phase: don't start with too many catchers. I started with alot (3 or 4 I don't remember), and it was a clera mistake as I played. The extra mobility didn't compensate enough for the squishiness, and you still could'nt pull off passing or trick plays all that well.
