Sometimes I see teams with great names that have.... one game played and are retired. I suggest that if you retire a team, that name becomes "available" again for another coach to name his team. |

I believe Christer has something like that on his 'to do' list.
But it's likely far towards the bottom. |

I agree 100% Also sometimes people retire teams that they messed up making then want to recreate that team again but now cannot use the same name.
There should atleast be an option to completely delete a team, not just retire them, I have a load of teams in my 'retired' list i just would rather not be there. I;d have them all completely deleted if i could. |

Here you asked a question:

Here, you were answered:

Here you become sarcastic forgetting that you, in fact, asked about 1 game played teams specifically:

If you don't like the answer too bad, but as far as I know that has been Christers stance on this subject in the past. 1 game teams will stay, but it's possible that 0 game teams will be deleted. Don't hold your breath. |

Historical teams form part of your stats, so shouldn't really be deleted. Plus I suppose it would mess up match reports involving them. |

Haha, I snapped up "Khornish Game Hens" even though I'll never play a game of Khorne...probably. Highest bid and I'll re-name it |

I've reused a couple of team names of teams I was particularly attached to by using blank characters instead of the (spacebar) space.
Type the team name normally, highlight one of the spaces to replace and hold "alt" while typing 255 on the numpad.
I've only used the names of teams I own or teams that have played 0 games but always teams that are retired. Wheaton's Law is in full effect. |

d00d, I forgot to add FOR EXAMPLE one game (or two or whatever), I did not mean specifically one game, it can be 100 games + retired - still can't use that name |

actually, from looking at the retired teams it's often a case of retired after 0 games...just think harder on the team name? |
