Welcome to Castle Fumbbl!
Castle Fumbbl sits atop a mountain crag looking out over the plains bellow, it is a strange magical castle maintained by a cult of mysterious gnomes.
Its main courtyard is a dedicated Blood Bowl pitch older than the Castle itself, said to be the source of the ancient castles magic. For when the Kings team is challenged and defeated a strange enchantment removes the Crown from the fallen Kings head and places it on the new King.
Teams from across the known world and beyond travel to challenge the King of the Castle. Thousands upon thousands of fans pack the stands and castle walls when a new challenger arrives to play the King, feasts and merriment last for days before the grand match. Fortunes are won and lost on the out come of the match.
Nobody quite knows why this happens and many have tried to deceive or break the enchantment with disastrous consequences. For the enchantment was forged with old old magic lost to the wizards of today.
The only way to wear the Grand Crown is to defeat the current Kings team!
Ever wanted to be King of your own Castle?
Well now you can! But beware you are not the only one!
King of the Castle is a new pyramid style group where there can be only one King, but many aspiring challengers ready to knock you from the throne!
<b>The Rules</b>
RULES:-
1) All regular bloodbowl rules apply.
2) All teams are to be unranked.
3) Teams must be new when you join the group.
4) Teams can play matches against any other teams they like to but only challenges will move coaches in the group
5) Challenges must be accepted and played within a week of the challenge being made and acknowledged.
6) Once you have played a coach you must wait until this coach has played at least one more match before you can challenge them again.
7) If your team is wrecked and yoou decide you need a new team let a member of staff know and apply your new team though this mean you will have to start the climb up the pyramid again.
Play for the Crown <img src=http://fumbbl.com/teams/105707.jpg> there can be only one wearer! (to be added/removed from the Kings team bio)
(If you have worn the crown but lost it then you may add <img src=http://fumbbl.com/teams/105708.jpg> for each time your team has worn the crown.)
Well I think that just about covers it, there may need to be some changes/clarification of the rules.

The Bretonnia Grail Questors heed the call of Castle Fummbl for surely the grail must be located within. The only way to find out though is to win the Crown to allow a thorough search of the interior. |

Nice league. You might want to look at this group for ideas/rules etc.
It works well in practice, but we have a ten page thread on rule and procedure discussions that got us this far.

Am i right in thinking that only the king is challenged , no other ranking is used ?

Eight challengers for the throne have now signed up, who will be the first to wear the Crown?
Match 1, Regiside V Wrestler Divas
hmm... me vs reo19uk and it's Ogres vs Amazons, i'm gona need to roll some pows, early and hope the soft av7 fall to my MB. 
Match 2, Up the Republic V Forever Kings
phil78 vs Tophat and it's Orcs vs Khemri, could be a close one here, but I think the ag3 Orcs will come through on the day. 
Match 3, OldWorldKings V Future Kings of the Hill
iena vs arcane257 and it's more Orcs vs yet more Orcs, erm what can I say... I think the Orcs will win. 
Match 4, Castlemania V Bretonnia Grail Questors
Winterland vs onionking and it's Dwarf vs Human, it's gota be the sortened cubes of chaos, the dwarfs, bad draw onionking. 
Not shure how long to play the first games, but lets try and get the games played asap |

So by play any other team I am assuming you mean withen the league? Or do you want us to play any team in unranked but only worry about challenges for league stuff?

Apoliges to anybody who has made the same kind of group but I thought of this idea without looking at any other groups and lets face it in fumbbl there are always going to be some groups which are the same otherwise there would could only be 1 league group and 1 tournement group. what fun that would be |
