I think it would be a nice feature to be able to transfer League Teams to the [U] division. I've got several teams that no longer play in a league but that I would like to keep for casual playing. And that's what [U] is for, isn't it ?
The fact that [U] is LRB4 and [L] is not could be catered for by allowing only LRB4-legal teams to make said change. The change would be one-time-only (as there is no way back from [U] to [L]) ... |

btw:
[U] should be renamed to [N] as it is the [N]othing division, no leagues, no tourneys, no time limit, no ranking, no stunties, no opponents, nothing.  |

Might be that I'm new and stupid but I haven't found a true reason given why the one-time option to transfer from [L] to [U] has been removed by Christer. Is LRB-compliance truly such a big issue ... wouldn't it be possible to allow the transfer for compliant teams only ? A one-time-only-option should prevent abuse, wouldn't it ?
In the old [U] before the split it has been possible to keep playing casually teams that are no longer involved in a league. This is what the new [U] is for, but transfer isn't possible an more ... |

Also why would you want to transfer to that crap division anyway? I can understand you wanting to transfer out of it though... |
