A lot of sports have charity matches with retired players, and a lot of players on this site have some old teams with a lot of dead/retired players in their history
I propose a short tournament or maybe just a one off match between the highest ranked for each division using only dead or retired players. Players to be chosen from one of the coaches nonretired, to a value cap (whatever 2000,3000)
aging before death or retirement sticks but lrb4 niggle (half chance of missing game) would be ignored
if this has been offered before slap me ^_^ |

If you're saavy enough with code, you can do this yourself... the results won't be permanent - but you can create a roster of "all-stars" as it were and play them against someone on the client. Not sure if what you're suggesting has been done before, but I know in a league I'm in - The NBFL - we have an annual "Pro Bowl" which can include posthumous nominations from the past season. Obviously, results don't track since the players are all from different teams... but it's wild fun and can be done. |

Niggling injuries don't cause the player half a chance to miss the game. It's only if you roll a six. So yeah, it's 1/6 not 1/2. Just thought I'd let you know. . . |
