There are now 4 different official elf races in Blood Bowl. But which one is the best? It is high time we settled this question of vital importance. Have your say!

the one with higher av until they arrive at the Claw Bar floor. every time an elf team wlks in (even just for a quick espresso on the run) they shut the doors close, turn down the lights and the party begins... |

Well I think DE will win given the others will split votes from each other, they are more similiar in style and theme
I am going woodies as I think if you are going to elf you might as well elf all the way |

Low to mid TV, Dark and Wood are close, but I think Dark is better. High TV, Wood, no question.
But Pro are the most fun. Hockey masks ftw. |

I'd say wood elves. Wardancers obviously, one turning is easier from the get go with catchers.
But I like all of them bar dark elves who don't have MA8. |

I went with Dark Elves because that's who I end up playing the most. Being able to do elf plays and bash a bit as well, hell yeah!
Woodies and pro would be 2nd and I've never been able to wrap my head around High Elves. |

I think it depends on too many aspects and metrics to say... I know that's a fence-sitting non-opinion-type answer, though.
Most fun: Pro Elves
Easiest to start: Woodies
Best overall at most levels: Dark Elves
Dumbest naming scheme: High Elves
That being said, a few key stats on well built stars will have any of those rosters shine. If you get a player that can systematically remove the opposition from the pitch, then any of those elves will be a headache. |

Woodies win most game-by-game, especially early, then all die and have to find easier games. If you can't pick your opponents, you'll just get smashed.
Dark Elves get bigger, so win more in places where they can't go and hide. Can get proper big and be competitive with anything, but won't stay there long.
Pro Elves grow quickly and die all the time, but keep enough players going to win a lot of big games even on inducements.
High Elves are the worst, can still elf but take longer to develop and then still struggle for wins and get smashed pretty regularly anyway.
Skaven start better than any other elf team, but just don't develop as well. The option for the Rat Ogre is the only way to build a big team, but they're squishy too.
Slann are really a terrible elf team, but respond the best to a few key +st/+ag rolls on players, and can elf with the best of them while those players survive.
Vampires are the worst elves of all, no starting skills, bloodlust, terrible linemen, and then there's Debog, who is the best elf ever. |

Considering that pros, woodies and darkies (and sea elves, half-elves, ...) are all spin-offs of high elves, I think the question is absurd.

Dark elves are best in the long term, but with the huge headstart wood elves have with wardancers, they are almost equal.
Voted dark elves. As they are the best. |
