High,
I've got a 6449 blitzer with sure hands that I just skilled up (non doubles). I also have an AG 5 blitzer on the team with tackle, 1 ST4 lineorc with wrestle and another lineorc with Block/tackle/pro (I'm thinking of firing this guy when I get 50000 gold) but no other tackle right now. I'm thinking of the following for him.
1)Tackle: As I said, I don't have much tackle and it'd be nice to have a st4 guy with tackle.
2)Fend: Maybe this is what I should do as he's the ball carrier and there's not much else to help him in this department (I don't have a thrower)
3)Frenzy: Would be nice to have a frenzy guy on the team with ST4. |

tackle or MB.
fend is pants on this guy.
skils 5/6: dodge on a double. +MA if you get it. SS on a second double.
otherwise tackle, MB, and then GD. |

tackle - he seems to be for main ball carrier, so his prime job is not to make damage. in terms of tournaments plays there are situations where blodge side step guys with or without diving tackle block him way or pin him , that when you are glad to have tackle on board with him. on a double clearly dodge. |

This.
You're aiming for something like this here:

(back in lrb4 there was that 126spp skill, you're not getting that one ) |

I had a lot of success with my Orc side based around a 6449 blitzer. He had
Dodge
Sure hands
Stand firm
Tackle
This is the best progression.
You do not need a thrower
He takes the ball, sure hands is next
Stand firm (or SS) allows you to hug the side line
Tackle allows him utility on defence. He is too valuable to be in the fray, he needs to sweep, and without tackle he sucks at it
Definitely not mb
Surround him with guarders on the drive
Enjoy
Edit- to be clear if you need help driving, take a stand firm. Caging with 2 is so much easier
If you need help on defence take tackle next |

You can never have too much Guard. Just saying... |

True, but this guy is probably better with tackle so he can act as a solo safety as with ST4 he won't need assists (as frequently) and with AG4 he has the mobility to make a dodge or two when necessary.
You really really pray he gets a double for dodge though.
+ST, +AG, Sure Hands, Tackle, is pretty nice, perfected with Dodge, but on just more normals you probably take guard or stand firm next. And if legend comes and it's still normals, you take the other one.
I wouldn't bother with MB on him, though it's not bad certainly, but you can have it in enough other places on the team. |

OK, thanks guys. I'm going with tackle. To be honest, I'm not very good so I think I may not use stand firm correctly in some cases where tackle I can use better. Any opinions on keeping or firing the tackle/block/pro lineorc? I think I should fire this guy as pro is rarely used and I have 3 rerolls already. If I get a basic orc I can lower my TV and hopefully roll a doubles or better on the first 2 skills. (I have 3 other lineorcs. The ST4 wrestler, 1 kicker, and 1 dp) |

Yeah, Lineorcs are good up to 2 normals, then they need a double or you gotta let them go. |
