With another great event in the books, we now move on to a big one - The NAF Championship. After the successes of The Dungeonbowl Dust-Up and The Eucalyptus Bowl Brouhaha - I'm excited to announce that the third event is now ready to take your application!
The pinnacle of NAF play, the Championship was due to be held in Nottingham next weekend. As we're all still under the COVID-19 lockdown, we're going to bring you the next best thing: six games of online NAF Blood Bowl that you can play from the comfort of your own home!
The NAF Championship will take place over the weekend of 2nd/3rd May, and you will be able to participate in any of three timezones. Read all of the details on how to apply on the tournament pages; selecting the schedule that best suits you. Applications close on 2 May at 10:00 AEST (Oceanic UTC +10), 11:00 CEST (Europe UTC+2) and 09:00 PDT (Americas UTC -7) - and we will be drawing the tournaments shortly thereafter.

If you haven’t joined us for an Online NAF tournament before, please take a look. Christer has been good enough to provide us with a NAF Live channel on the main FUMBBL Discord, so you can pop in for a chat in between rounds!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or in Discord.
Thanks, and we’ll see you on the weekend!
Dan / Foad. |

Huzzah!
We’re committed to keeping these coming while we’re all under Covid-19 lockdown, but we could use more hands to keep them going at the quality we’ve managed so far. If you know your way around FUMBBL and are keen to help out, please PM me! |

Many thanks to make that lockdown nicer with that premium quality tournaments!
Just a question, could i play the 3rd game in European zone later? I would be more comfortable with that (got something at 5 pm I can't miss). |

@MadMarino - the concern is that your opponent would have an expectation that the game would be played at that point. If you were both happy to move it that would be fine.
But what if you opponent was only available at that point? |

We did try this sort of thing in the before time, actually, and it wasn’t enormously popular.
The likely outcome is that, as we transition out of lockdown, we continue but at a reduced frequency. It’s unlikely that we’ll be able to support once a fortnight when ‘life is normal’, either on the admin or the playing side. Again, more hands makes it easier to do more things.
Thank you for the kind words / sentiments! |

Could completely understand your point of view. If the game starts at 15.30, though, i guess i could play it. I should do both, will see what would prefer my opponent. Thanks! |

Looking forward to this event. The last one was so much fun. Nice to see the NAF helping us out with this welcomed format. |
