Strong Arm is a Strength Skill in bb2020 and needs access. High Elf Throwers were mistakenly not allowed Strength skills on doubles. This has been fixed, and strong arm should now convert appropriately.
Safe Pass is a bb2020 skill, which is what the BB2016 Safe Throw gets converted to.
And as a side-note, this is exactly why I need people to look at it and report potentially strange behaviour. |
Strong Arm cannot be taken by players without the Throw Team-mate trait |

Yes. Strong Arm could remain Strong Arm for players with Throw team-mate and could be converted in Cannoneer (or lost?) for players without Throw team-mate;
I've done tests with all my Box teams (to cover all rosters) to check if all position names were correct and all primary / secondary skills access were correct. I didn't see any mistake.
The only thing I underlined is no P access on Tomb King teams Anointed Blitzers but, as Teams of Legend PDF had a typo about them (A instead of G on primary skills access) you may be waiting for new PDF. |

Just an inquiry as to how Legends with invalid choices will work...
Swamp Lizard: Thro-Ra Extrordinaire
13 Swamp Lizard Anointed Thrower->Anointed Thrower (70k)
Previous SPP total: 190
Break Tackle is no longer a valid choice and will be removed.
Dodge -> Dodge (Agility) +40k
+ST -> +ST (Stats) +80k
Block -> Block (General) +20k
+ST -> +ST (Stats) +80k
Tackle -> Tackle (General) +20k
Number of skills: 5, 30 SPP for next chosen primary
Unspent SPP: 30*14% = 4 SPP
Player Cost 310k
So he gets one less skill and loses how much SPP?!... not sure how that was calculated. |

It looks to be failing on Legends. If you look at other players you get this
Previous SPP total: 81
SPP progress: 5 SPP beyond the previous level (76)
Equivalent to 5% to the next level (176)
Here it seems to have taken 190 -176 and not calculated that with the missing level he has only spent 76 spp. |

With legends who lose a skill, the calculation is (SPP-176) / 100
The last 100 comes from the "distance" between 76 and 176, so the same as the legend skill.
Thus, 190-176 = 14, which becomes 14%
And this is applied to the SPP needed for a chosen primary (30), resulting in 4. |

Thanks . Ok I tried on one of my tem
Here is my remarks:
Team 908183 ( Ranked)
In the SPP calculation the script report
Playername Mummy->Mummy (125k)
Previous SPP total: 2
Number of skills: 0, 6 SPP for next chosen primary
Unspent SPP: 6*33% = 2 SPP
Which is ok. But I do not understand "6 SPP for the next chosen primary". In the BB2020 rulebook page 71 the first step to random select a primary skill is 3SPP.
I have understood that if a player at the end of the match reach 3SPP he MUST random select a primary skill and then he remain with 1 SPP (the rule say "A player is not obliged to spend their SPP until they have enough to randomly select a chacateristic improvement, at which point they MUST spend some or all of their SPP).
If the player at the end of one match collect 4 SPP, this means he will (MUST?) spend 3 to randomly select a Primary Skill and then he remain with 1 SPP (but maybe it's me who misunderstood the rule)
Team ID 1010147 (NECRO Black Box)
Total Player Value 1035k --> I presume this is what in the rule is called Current Team Value . I have in the team a "Loner" player. Not sure how the "Loner" are converted. In the new rule should be this a "LCL"? In this case whould be subtracted by the CTV ( giving -40k on the calculation?)
Thanks |

9 Duckman Thrall->Thrall Lineman (40k)
Previous SPP total: 9
SPP progress: 3 SPP beyond the previous level (6)
Equivalent to 30% to the next level (16)
Leader is no longer a valid choice and will be removed.
Number of skills: 0, 6 SPP for next chosen primary
Unspent SPP: 6*30% = 2 SPP
Player Cost 40k
Is this correct for SPP, he loses Leader skill because it’s not allowed so his SPP reduce from 9 to 2?
probably not important as he is unlikely to be drafted.
Is this correct for spp, he loses |

7 Lydia Purpuraria Catcher->Catcher (90k)
Previous SPP total: 48
SPP progress: 17 SPP beyond the previous level (31)
Equivalent to 85% to the next level (51)
+MA -> +MA (Stats) +20k
Block -> Block (General) +20k
+MA -> +MA (Stats) +20k
Number of skills: 3, 16 SPP for next chosen primary
Unspent SPP: 16*85% = 14 SPP
Player Cost 150k
Movement was capped at 9 I think, this player will be movement 10 so the 2nd +MA should not be allowed. |

I have no AG 6 players to check but 2nd AG increase should also not been allowed for players starting at AG 4 (as AG 1+ is the maximum agility characteristic in BB 2020). |

New rules signal an end to the days of the +ST players it seems. Seems really unfortunate and takes a lot of character out of the game.
Maybe ST+1 for 50K, then 70K for +2, but this 80K makes it worthless to take. Seems the rule makers just didn't want anyone to have +ST. My norse team jumps up almost 200K in TV. they are going to be gutted to 1350 and retired as norse are even more useless at low TV. |

I don't get this attitude. Norse are not useless. No team is "useless". You'll be playing against similar TV teams and the game is the same. Norse are a very effective team with strengths and weaknesses like everyone else. |

Noticed from a league team, not sure how many there'll be in R and B, but any player with an extra normal skill for some reason will get bonus SPP in a weird way.
Perhaps check if the player has more skills than their spp would normally allow, and if so, zero out the new SPP, rather than adding a lot more?

Example team from league with rapid skill gain, migrated to regular skill gain ruleset. |
