Okay, so I've played 15 games with my Humans, and am going to park them for a redraft. How should I handle this?

Right now I have the following: (prices include agent fees)

Blitzers: 340k for 4.
1 Guard, Grab, 1 SPP (+60k)
2 Mighty Blow, Tackle, Pro, 10 SPP (+80k)
3 Mighty Blow, Guard, Tackle, 16 SPP (enough for a chosen primary) (+80k)
4 Guard, Mighty Blow, 6 SPP (+60k)

Thrower: 80k for 1.
5 rookie, 9 SPP (+20k)

Catchers: 65k each for 1. (My brawler style doesn't like to have too many.)
7 Block, Side Step, niggle, 11 SPP (+60k)
10 Block, 7 SPP (+40k)

Linemen: 50k each
11 Frenzy, Block, 10 SPP (+50k)
14 Frenzy, Block, 2 SPP (+50k)

other options:
Halflings @ 30k for 0-1 as a cost-saving gimmick to get 12 players.
2nd Catcher @ 65k as a 12th player.
4th Re-Roll (I like having a lot of rerolls, but could settle for 3).
Not taking the Ogre, it just doesn't fit my style.

My initial thinking is:
4 Blitzers, 1 Thrower, 1 Catcher, 5 Linemen, Apothecary, 3 re-rolls: 935k

Balance: 415k for returning player added value and agent fees, a 4th re-roll, or a 2nd Catcher or 6th lineman.

My first thinking is that I know I want blitzers #2, #3, and #4 back (#3 has the points to take Grab after one game), plus Lineman #11. That's 270k with fees. 415k-270k leaves me with 145k to play with. I could take the Block Catcher, a second Catcher, and a 4th re-roll, or I could take the Thrower with the points, the second Catcher, and the Block/SS Catcher, with 3 re-rolls. I think I'm leaving Blitzer #1 alone here, he's lots of fun but I don't want to get screwed with agent fees next season so I'll grab a rookie. Alternately, I could take the Thrower option with the Block-only Catcher, and have 20k socked away in case of early damage. There's also the second Frenzy guy, #14, not sure I want him back, but it is fun to have two of those.

What would you do?

Interesting! Blitzers absolutely sounds the right place to spend money.
Of the options you listed I'd favour the Thrower + Block Catcher. You could skill-up a rookie catcher in no time.

I am not expecting to redraft human linos. But then I guess the fun of randoms can mean a favourite emerges : )

I would start by trying to drop the Lineman Frenzy , Block and try to hire back all positional with skills

consider 20k fee for each player you want to call in the new season

So positional players with skills are #1,#2,3,#4, #7, #10
values is 125+20+145+20+145+20+125+20+105+20+85+20 = 850
1350 - 850 = 500 to spend
you can purchase 5 lineman = 350 k
2 reroll = 100k
1 apo= 50k
you fire assistant coached.

if I did correct calculation you have TV 1350 , 11 players but you DO NOT HAVE any thower which for humans is a problem

in this case you can sacrifice the catcher #7 and purchase one catcher rookie and one thrower rookie in spite of one linemen
again 11 players

I'm not expert in human's roster... question is if make sense to start at TV 1350 with 11 players only? not sure...
In case you have to drop one blitzer for one rookie and maybe try to start with 12 player roster I think blitzer #1 can be drop

I'm thinking I can run 11 players for one game, but I want to start the season with an Apothecary and three or four rerolls. I also want at least 10 ST3 players, so if I take 2 Catchers, I want 12 menz.

I'm unlikely to take both 7 and 10. I'm of the mindset that having a Frenzy is a big deal, especially with a Grab player. I'd take one of the two Catchers, get him Dauntless, and use the Frenzy guy and the Grab guy to get chainpushes across scrimmage on T8, so my Catcher can blitz the back-line for an OTS.

Hey, I bought a copy of the Second Season rules, but I left it at a friend's place and we've had a falling out. What are the new rules on healing niggling injuries? Because that's a factor in all of this. #7 got a niggle in game #15, sadly.

Okay, so ...

4 Blitzers, Thrower, 2 Catchers, 5 Linemen (12 players), 3 re-rolls, Apothecary: 1.00 million.
Blitzers 2, 3, 4: +220k. Balance 1.22 million
Lineman 11: +50k. Balance 1.27 million
Remainder: 80k

That leaves me enough for 9 SPP on my Thrower (20k), and my choice of Blitzer #1 (60k) or either of the two Catchers (40k or 20k). If I take #10, I get an extra 20k Treasury to play with, so after a couple games I should be able safely to buy my 4th reroll. Alternately, I could have rookie Catchers and a rookie Blitzer, take back the Thrower and the fourth TRR, with 10k for my Treasury.

Okay, so my vision is getting a bit clearer, but there are still choices to make.

4+ (3+ with an Apo) to heal the Niggle.

Okay, I think I got it
Rookie Blitzer = 85
Blitzers 2-4 = 255 base + 160 skills + 60 fees = 475
Rookie Thrower = 80
Catcher 10 = 65 + 20 + 20 = 105
Lineman 11 = 50 + 30 + 20 = 100
5 rookie Linemen = 250
Apothecary = 50
4 RRs = 200
5k Treasury
TV 1245k.
