Just wondering what people mark the players with in the client.
For those who don't know you can hold shift and click on a player icon to write stuff at his feet.
I write down pretty much anything, it can lead to some information overload in high TV games but generally I like to know as much as possible without scrolling over the players.
I will take this team as an example: https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=586385
Blitzer: Block, Guard, Dodge, Side Step
DGS
Blitzer: Block, +ST, Mighty Blow, +MA, Tackle
84Tm
Blitzer: Block, Dodge, Side Step, Sure Hands
DSu
Blitzer: Block, Dodge, Side Step, Tackle
DTS
Witch Elf: Frenzy, Dodge, Jump Up
Lineman: +MA, Guard, Block, Dodge, Mighty Blow, Piling On
7BDGm
Lineman: Wrestle, Side Step, Tackle
WTS
Journeyman: Loner
L
So yeah I don't write any starting skills, on the +ST blitzer for example I just write 4 for the strength since it is obvious I wouldn't mark his AG4. If he was a human blitzer I would have marked him 8s4Tm.
I use both capital and small letters, D is Dodge, d is dirty player, B is block, b is break tackle, G is guard, g is grab. So the most important skills are capital letters. A niggle will be marked with an asterisk *.
On the legend lineman I couldn't get everything, I think 5 characters is max and pushing it. Left out piling on, his m for mighty blow already marks him as a damage dealer and I will quickly become aware of his piling anyway if I should forget it for a moment.
I also made this table once, haven't looked at it in many months and I think I have changed some things since then but it will show how comprehensive I am.

Heh yeah I've started putting the t first for diving tackle, it is probably more important than tackle so should get the T but oh well
Block, Dodge, Side Step, Tackle, Diving Tackle

I dont mark anything
I find it an annoying waste of time. Just remembering things works better. |

All caps. First letter of each word of each skill. JM for Journeymen.
Injuries get a *6* or whatever the stat is.
I often run out of room. |

I'm with the tumor, except I frequently forget things, and then it doesn't work better.... |

You know that you can activate this in the client so it will display '13' on the square next to the LOS and '1' on the square next to the endzone, and all the other squares show the distance to the nearest endzone too of course. |

It would depend on the team I'm using, as to what I'd mark. Generally marking +MA isn't worth it. Most likely they aren't going to anything amazing until TD scoring opportunities.
So I'd mark them the following (if I was inclined).
fllgrd
4tkle
fll
fll
Witch I wouldn't mark, as 1 skill you'd expect her to have dodge
pomb

Since I usually play dwarves, the only damage skill I mark on opposing players is Claw. I use two letters to distinguish skills with the same starting letter, like Dp = Dirty Play, D = Dodge, Dt = Diving Tackle, Ss for Side Step, Sb for Strip ball. I struggle making notes in stat increases and I obviously run out of space with my system. Might try the one that uses small letters for certain skills!
Fun fact: I know my Agility Monsters' players' skills by heart. So I mark them all with the first three letters of their name and add how many SPP are missing to the next level up (for example Bru17 for Brumbas, lacking 17 SPP for another skill). |

Why would you mark blitzers with block and a witch with frenzy jump up? I think you need to slimline your lettering some what. |
