I have just received the notice that the FUMBBL Cup has opened applications back in Altdorf.
The best tourney that FUMBBL has to offer is getting set to kick off.
The Glory, the challenge, the spectacle of Blood, the underdogs, the Legend Teams and players, sheer size of the tournament is a spectacle to behold and last but not least just down right fun to play in.
So I encourage every coach to apply a team. Pick one, Box or Ranked it does not matter. What does matter is participation in this glorious celebration of Blood Bowl on FUMBBL.
And Maybe, just maybe if enough coaches have the determination, courage and Dream the impossible, that you might actually win the tournament. Then we could have 512+ teams enter. Now that would be epic.
Now if enough coaches rally to my words and the words infect the "competitve" fire that burns in all FUMBBL coaches. Then HARK! we might reach the legendary level of 1024 TEAMS!!! Glorious Blood Bowl rapture across the Blood Bowl pitches of ALtdorf.
SO, pass the word across the (L) DIV to all the coaches, those ones who have turned their back to the fun of Open play majors, guide them back to the paradise of the FUMBBL CUP, brow beat if you must, to enter one of their R/B teams, yes they have a few lingering. Appeal to them to give it one more go in a major.
FC XI will be a spectacle of titanic proportions and I do not want any coach sitting on the sideline missing out on the fun. |

Oh my my "juices" are flowing now in anticipation of FC XI.
In Order to make this the best FC ever I need to send out a summons to my fellow coaches. Coaches who like the stats or the fluff of the FC.
I need some coaches to step up and help cover the tournament with Milford.
1)Need someone to compile a list every round of Teams reamaining by race, High/ Low TV and any other stat you think is fun for each round. A glance at where the tourney stand from a race/Div stand point.
2)Other coaches who aspire to be match "pickers", post some match picks for us to be amused by. Note: There will be so many matches the first 4 rounds that there is no way everyone can get "pciked". So just pick a few and off you go.
3)We allways need fluff and a lot of it. So maybe somewere there is an inside the dug out reporter ready to tell us some of the grim tales from some of the matches.
4)I leave the most difficult one for last. We need a coach who is a necromancer at heart, one who does not shy from the dead, spits in the eye of Moor and celebrates carnage. We need some one to record the death of every single pixel in the FC. A glorious throne of dead pixel .JGPS with there SPP shown. Let the masses celebrate glorious Legends and Super Stars fall like chaff in the wind. The Big 'uns getting laid low. And chuckles as we see the stunties get pilled up like cord wood, in ROUND 1 !!! This is a really tall order, I realize, but maybe one of you will step up to this titanic challenge.
In the end a major is fun but a major with press coverage, fluff, stats and a pile of dead corpses. Well now that is a trully epic thing to participate in, spectate matches and follow on the fourms.
This is one of those times a few dedicated coaches who want to help old Milford can really bring a lot of enjoyment of the FC to all the coaches on FUMMBL.

Alas I dont think the Eaters will make it this year. I heard a rumor that coach JackDaniels was last scene last month at a Texas Hold'Em table passed out in back of some casino in Monte Carlo. I would not put to much faith in old Jack to come walking in at the last minute. |

I'll bring elves. Both the ranked and blackbox ones quite low tv at the moment. Just need a few games and a few good players on either and we're good to go. |
