I know, but I can't help it. Only barely managed a tie against goblins with my dwarves (thanks to an AG 2 long pass and AG 2 catch). If only I could get more serious... |

Unfortunately a current member switched from norse to khemri so please choose a different race. Sorry for the inconvenience! |

Yeah I spectated that game LIVE. It was a thrill on it own. Sadly it simplifies the championship. On the other hand the Lowly Ladies sucked the blood out of the Thralls, and supports their run at the title.
Sidenote: The Thralls killed 2 amazons in garbage time. The apothecary also lended an assist to the 1st kill attempt. (Choose a kill rather an agility decrease.) |

Well now, mRmU has just upset the betting with a hard-fought 2-1 win over my vikings - once of those games you just can't break armor (and not for lack of trying, with Tackle on nearly half my team).
Its a sad day for any team playing goblins when the only CAS in your favour was a Badly Hurt from a thrown rock and block (or was it a foul?) on a troll who then regens... |

Well, we had 7 droppings of which 3 coach just disappeared from the site, two was banned because of not playing therir match for about three weeks (Round 5), akaRenton quitted because of lacking interest and another was banned which is better for all of us I guess.
Imagine there would be 12 matches in a round. I am pretty damn sure that it is more like impossible to get all matches arranged and played for about half year long with that pace involving 24 people. I see that all other groups are suffering from droppings and concessions and fortfeits. People are coming here to play a game and they did not take it serious enough to make league organizers' work easy. And a linemen-based league is even less important for people than a regular one, I guess. How could I say them that despite this they must play a round per week here. Instead I also want to attract people who prefer a slower pace since they can' or don't want to play League matches often. So we stick to the one round per two weeks tempo, which is forced in contrast.
We gonna have one season per year. Season II kicks off from September 1. You can have your holiday without the banhammer. |

That could get me into trouble. But I would go with it, risking a perma-ban if it doesn't work out for me. Better than losing 1/3 or so of all coaches during the season. |

I suggest for next season we drop the rounds to 7 days. I think people lose interest in such a long tournament; especially with so many rounds. |

Season I is approaching to its end, so I made my prognosion for the rest of the matches and the final score:
R13 Vampire (Madmin) vs. Amazon (bghandras): 2
R13 Norse (MrPeakie) vs. Goblin (mRmU): 1
R13 Slann (AdyBrooke) vs. Halfling (Dalfort): 1
R14 Goblin vs. High Elf (Throweck): 2
R14 Chaos (BillBrasky) vs. Slann: 1
R14 Human (mike467) vs. Dark Elf (Winni): X (!)
R14 Necromantic (SzieberthAdam) vs. Halfling: 1
R15 Vampire vs. Slann: X
R15 Chaos vs. Norse: X (!!!)
R15 Human vs. Necromantic: 1
R16 Vampire vs. Goblin: X
R16 Amazon vs. Halfling: 1
R16 Necromantic vs. High Elf: X
R17 Vampire vs. Norse: 2
R17 Chaos vs. Dark Elf: 2 (!)
R17 Slann vs. Amazon: X (!)
Final score prognosis:
1. Amazon (bghandras): 16 + 3 + 3 + 1 = 23
2. Norse (MrPeakie): 15 + 3 + 1 + 3 = 22
3-5. Chaos (BillBrasky): 13 + 3 + 1 + 0 = 17
3-5. Human (mike467): 13 + 1 + 3 = 17
3-5. High Elf (Throweck): 13 + 3 + 1 = 17
6. Dark Elf (Winni): 12 + 1 + 3 = 16
7. Necromantic (SzieberthAdam): 9 + 3 + 1 = 13
8. Slann (AdyBrooke): 7 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 9
9. Vampire (Madmin): 6 + 0 + 1 + 1 + 0 = 8
10. Goblin (mRmU): 6 + 0 + 0 + 1 = 7
11. Halfling (Dalfort): 3 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 3
The Amazons are surely win the trophy if they win all their matches. If not, Norse and Chaos can catch them with a good performance. They even play against each other which is probably the most interesting match of the season. I expect a massive competition for the third place. Oh, and seems like Slann have the bigest chance to stop the Amazons, so don't miss that match! |
